>retards who think touch typing is some magical thing instead of literally just being able to type without looking at the keyboard

>Anon, it's like driving blindfolded to me!
>>62129325
Touch typing is not the same as just typing without looking though. Touch typing is a specific variation of being able to type without looking.

Isn't touch typing what a stenographer has to do?
They can't even look at what they're typing

About 2 hours until Radeon™ Vega 56 sells out instantly. Are you ready? How many tabs do you have ready for that slim chance of getting one?

Well I am not going to buy reference shitblower.

Why are blowers so hated? It's the only design that pumps heat directly out your case.

I made a chart for you guys.
A guide for newbies and experienced programmers to achieve Satori and become EXPERT PROGRAMMERS.
Looking for improvements and additional (or removal of) books but I believe language specific stuff should have their own chart so let's keep it language agnostic.
Just like the Starting with the Greeks Chart, I think descriptions for each book are appropriate but I will need help from the community to add them in.

fuckin meme list
taocp and clrs for example are not even meant to be read cover to cover, they are references you fuckin idiot. did you even read anything in that list?
>>62129238
TAOCP isn't really a reference, it's just incredibly dense and difficult to go through. You could spend hours on a few pages. Some of its exercises take months to complete as well.
Even going through the first volume AND understanding it would make you better than 99% of programmers, but it's most likely a waste of time.
Which is why using TAOCP as a reference is better.
Should we live without internet to escape the bitnet ? I'm slowly developing the fear of the botnet and i spend too much time on internet.
Redpill me on internet-free life.
I'm considering to only use my computer for vim and calcurse.

Actually sounds alright but I need to read up more into their policies. I don't trust people who offer stuff for free. Kinda like duckduckgo. "We're the most private search engine" and then pic related.

Android development is fucking atrocious. Get rid of Java. Get rid of it.
Just use Clojure.

I have ~50GB of old DDR2 RAM chips. Is there any way to build a ramdisk out of them?
AMD glued together multiple cores into one single CPU so I don't see why you wouldn't be able to glue together several RAM modules into one single RAM disk
yes, with RAM drives
http://news.softpedia.com/news/RAM-Drives-the-New-Trend-in-Storage-73962.shtml
>>62128336
There used to be PCI-E ramdisks so you could try hunting one of them but those are quite uncommon. A more realistic approach would be to buy an old server woth lots of DIMM slots, shove everything in it and access the ramdisk over network.
I'm trying to setup a program on automate, which will be able to detect when a sound is released from the speakers, but I get the error "java.lang.runtimeexception:Cannot initialize Visualizer engine, error : -3". What am I supposed to do pls ?

Is there any way I can set up an OS solely for running virtual machines? Nothing else. No spyware, no bloatware. Just virtual machines.
Maybe an OS designed just for that?
Can I configure Debian to do this?
>>62128196
what is Quebs OS
>>62128196
Describe virtual machines. If you are running docker containers or something like that, then CoreOS or Alpine Linux might be suitable for you.
>>62128229
You only run apps from virtual machines with Qube OS, you can't access the desktop of you virtual machines for example.
