Which one and why
Ubuntu, genuinely surprised Linux Mint has survived as long as it has, it's a shitty Ubuntu reskin with lots of included bloat and ugly rice from 2007, a genuinely awful distro, I'd rather use Hannah Montana Linux.
Is there something like AutoIt or AutoHotKey, but with a real programming language?
PowerShell. Its free and integrated deep into everything Microsoft.
AutoIT and Autohotkey will just eventually be flagged by your antivirus as malware.
Source: I've made tonnes of scripts in both those languages over the years, and now am busy re-writing what I need to keep in Powershell because AV keeps eating my old scripts.
I found an old iTouch 2G in my room, charged it and it booted right up.
Anything cool I can do with it?

Phones. I'm actually tempted to get a 128GB iPod touch for movies and music but I hate iTunes and my iPod touch first gen still works fine, and with afc2add I can transfer files over USB without jewTunes.
Why are linux Desktop enviorments so shit? After using all of them i've finally setltled on KDE but obviously it's still a buggy piece of shit.
heres my notes:
every time you change wallpaper the entire session crashes and restarts
have to hit "Log out" / "Reboot" multiple times to actually take effect from start menu
Various steam games will randomly break Kwin and have no boarders.
Various steam games open on wrong monitor with graphical glitches
Various steam games black screen and crash the whole system.
When using the QT filepicker fix for Firefox on KDE, i sometimes have to hit Browse > upload multiple times for it to actually select the picture....
cant resize steam window (random?)
alt+tab behavior is laggy and not immediate. need to hold button?
multi-monitor behavior is shitty. the display settings dialogue is glitchy and Cloning/Unify is generally buggy and broken.
Why is it so hard to get a semi-functioning linux desktop enviorment?

Should I feel bad for getting Windows 10 Home instead of Pro?
>Should I feel bad for getting Windows 10 Home instead of Pro?
Yes. Pro has deferred updates which means you don't automatically force install updates until there is a positive community feedback.
really made me think.......

"Breaking Moore's law is what we did with Infinity Fabric."
Is he right, /g/?
Moore's Law is a meme now, but AMD casually putting ~780mm^2 of silicon in one package for cheap is a disaster for Intel.
EPYC 7601 competes with 8176 for half the price.
And i'm not even talking about memory or I/O. Or AMD's 1S solutions.
Why is electricity difficult to understand?
What books do I read?
What online lectures do I watch?
What are you working on, /g/?
