I have a 3g I just booted up and started using at work.

Installed Spotify on it and download music to listen to offline since there's no wifi where I work and you're not allowed to use your phone.
Also 3g has Bluetooth, so I use a wireless earbud to be even more discreet. Pretty good device considering I've had it for years.

dead simple to jailbreak, can run a bunch of media apps in addition to games that won't work on newer iOS devices. I have a first gen iPad that does VLC alright. They're decent media players if nothing else, worth hanging onto.

Still have a 32gb 3gs hand-over from my old man
Only use it for music tho, none of phones I have can come close in sound quality

Leave it as is and use it for nostalgia purposes
