Enjoy ur cataracts
>tfw no DNP progress pictures.
Because 99% of users have no diet control and don't get results.

yeah I wanna see some dnp porgress pics, would be cool to see someone shred the weight in a couple months
How bad is it if I just lift and never do cardio
I haven't done cardio in like a month
>cardio
>in 21st century
>not a meme
pick two
>>38435237
Not a meme in the 21st century
>>38435223
If you're an insecure fag who doesn't care about fitness and just wants to look good, go ahead.
But by 'cardio' if you mean walking on a treadmill and doing 10 mins on the spinning machine then you may as well skip it anyway.
Athletes who are in a 'cardio' related sport (cycling, running, swimming) tend to live way longer than the normal person due to cardiovascular gains, and pro weightlifters tend to die earlier. Just some stuff to bear in mind.
But then again,
>cardio kills gains brah
Threadly reminder that if you're not separating your food groups when you eat, you're literally losing gains.
>>38435076
>tfw missing out on those sick autism gains
>eating low caloric foods like peas
Unless you don't care your tummy looks like its about to explode then eating lowcalorie foods on a gain is a no no.
>mfw I don't look like Coleman because I don't separate my peas like a little autist child who doesn't like his food touching
>tfw too lazy to be /fit/
>>38435049
there is a solution:
less talking more lifting
>tfw too intelligent to be lazy
>>38435059
I have the perseverance of a lazy toddler with ADD. I have quit everything I ever started within a year. Believe me when I say there is 0 (zero) chance I will ever become one of you guys.
one of my friends has one of these. What the fuck does it do?
>>38434914
Provides superior anal stimulation.
>>38434914
Takes stress off your wrists on overhead deadlift
>>38434914
more comfortable angle to grip when doing curls/skullcrushers. therefore doesn't hurt your wrists.

Could any swimbro please explain how the hell am I supposed to do pic related consistently and not inhale a gallon of water every time? Is it even possible when swimming in the sea with all the waves fucking up my breathing? Every video/guide I've watched has people inhaling with their mouth half underwater, if I do that I'll eventually get a mouthful of water and end up gasping for air.
I hope /fit/ doesn't hate swimming.
Purse up the half of your mouth that's underwater. Like you're breathing to the side of your mouth. Or just turn your entire head out when you breathe. And when i'm swimming in the open ocean I usually keep my entire head out of the water just to see where i'm going.
>>38434824
this, but when swiming in open water, you need to look up after like 5-10 strokes, to see where you are going.
I've been there. Got frustrated because I couldn't create that "BOW" wave every time. I guess you just need to be streamlined, head at the right depth, and you should have a larger velocity. That used to help me get the bow wave.
Why do I get so fucking tired after even a normal-sized meal? I just had to take a 1½-hr nap after having breakfast. Yesterday I went to school right after lunch and I nearly fell asleep in class. Went home and took a 1hr nap right after. Should I go see a doctor?
bitch-made
smaller and more frequent meals then. problem solved. bam.
also, take some vitamin d supplements. vitamin d is one of the first things doctors check for when youre feeling lethargic and tired, despite getting enough sleep.
low vitamin d makes you sleepy.
>>38434723
probs gluten intolerant brah
At what point did you realise that you wouldn't make it?
Me, >35% bodyfat for 5 years despite lifting and never missing a gym session. No willpower to refuse junk food whatsoever.
Never
>>38434691
>Giving up when you're still alive and capable of bettering yourself
Disgusting. If I have a bad day, I do better the next day.
Being only 5'7 and having a 33-35 inch waist below 15% bodyfat. All the most aesthetic guys are like 6'2 with <28 inch waists.
It's unfortunately something I cannot fix, no amount of steroids will fix it either. I am basically doomed to never look aesthetic. I can't even hope for a tiny-trip tier waist to shoulder ratio, because that guy had like a 24 inch waist lmao.
Why are middle aged americans dress and act like teenengers? In Europe you dont see guys in 40s and 50s in fucking fullcaps
>America
>humanity
teenagers dress like middle aged people here too
>>38434686
Their nigger ghetto culture has reached the white middle classes.
Why are powerlifters so autistic?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FK_LQtc0ALQ
It's like the lower end of activities people settle on to be "good" at.
Tried sports - not coordinated/fast/brave enough
Tried solo sports - not patient/coordinated enough and not able to validate yourself enough because nobody cares
Finally settle on powerlifting because you get to stop trying to eat well, and act like lifting a few times a week is "so hardcore discipline" (btw people who train for real sports are laughing at you for this if all you do is lift)
Then proceed to treat it like every PR is fucking stepping up to take a penalty in a world cup final, and you get..
>this
>>38434281
The commotion before big lifts always gets me. Granted, I make sure I'm braced before lifting, but other than that? What more is necessary? kek
>>38434281
>implying professional powerlifting does not require discipline and controling your diet
Only the top weight classes don't bother with overeating, others have to work to fit in a weightclass and perform well.
also
>implying you got to a professional level in any sport
>there is only one gym with free weights in my area
>owners want to close the gym because the rent went up and they can't afford it anymore
>closest gym with free weights is far away and it will take too much time to drive there
What do? Im fucking helpless right now.
Home gym brah
get together with some regulars from the old gym, rent a little space in a warehouse and buy equipment from the closing gym. if you get enough people it shouldn't be too costly.
>>38434220
>gym with free weights
is this a thing? like having to separately mention a GYM has free weights? is this an american thing? I bet it is, usually safe to assume when I hear something this absurd
Are chia seeds just a meme or have anyone here actually seen any benefits from it?
They got a shitload of omega 3s, iron, magnesium, calcium, potassium, fiber etc
I don't know but rate my meal.
Am I doing good?
>>38433806
4/10 keep trying Anon
rate mine
what the fuck is going on in here?
Worth noting that the catered food is incredibly difficult to stomach in large quantities (e.g. chicken is really dry).
I don't think I've been hitting my target of 3000 cals/day because of this so would it be worth buying some stuff to keep in my room? If so, what's some cheap stuff to get as well as pic related? I have a fridge and access to a microwave
Cheers /fit/
PEANUT
BUTTER
>>38433550

>>38433694

I AM A FAT THAT NEEDS TO START EATING HEALTHY. (PIC RELATED IS ME)
>YES I READ THE STICKY, I KNOW WHAT THINGS I NEED TO PUT IN MY BODY, PROBLEM IS I HAVE A HARD TIME FINDING HEALTHY FOOD THAT DOES NOT TASTE LIKE SHIT, LIKE YEAH SURE I CAN GET GRILLED MICROWAVE CHICKEN WITH A 23 GRAMS OF PROTEIN TO 1 GRAM OF FAT RATIO, BUT I LITERALLY AM GAGGING ON IT BECAUSE IT IS DRYER THAN A FUCKING DESERT THAT HAS NO WATER.
>i HAVE 20,000 USD IN MY BANK AND BRING HOME ANOTHER 2K OF DISPOSABLE INCOME EACH MONTH THAT I COULD CARE LESS ABOUT SO I DONT CARE IF IT'S EXPENSIVE
>WHAT FOODS WOULD YOU GUYS RECOMMEND THAT DO NOT TASTE LIKE SHIT
>BONUS POINTS IF I DO NOT HAVE TO USE AN OVEN
please + thanks lads
Learn to cook brah. It's not as hard as you think. Since you don't care about money, get proteins that taste good even when cooked simple like steaks and salmon
>>38433502
Nice vest brah
>>38433502
Learn to cook my man. You already said you have enough money for good healthy food. It's time to experiment and use some recipes that you find interesting
