I'm on a pirate diet so I only eat what they would have had on a ship during the week. Weekends I have more leeway because I'm in port.
It's actually working because I eat a lot of fish and eggs and citrus fruit, bread is okay if it's at least a day old to simulate being hard. I also eat chicken or beef maybe twice a week (they had chickens or cows on some ships and when they ran out of food for them they slaughtered them) which is slightly unrealistic but I let it pass.
But on the weekends I usually eat like half a loaf of French bread with butter and grab some cookies (I justify this by saying I'm at a tavern and some wench made them for me).

Yo /fit/, bouncing around an idea for a small business here.

Would you pay to have meals prepped for you and delivered to your house? With calories and macros counted for you, of course. At the moment I'm thinking that you could choose between a couple of templates (high-cal high-protein, low cal, zero-carb, vegan etc) and each week the meals would rotate but stick to roughly the same calories and macro ratios. You could choose how many meals you wanted each week and deliveries would probably be on Monday (for tue-fri) and Friday (for sat-mon).

Thoughts?

So I've been doing Phraks Greyskull http://i.imgur.com/XbsMMJU.jpg on my 4th week now, however i believe I'm doing it wrong and would like input on some concerns i have.
1. Am i supposed to increase weight weekly? Or every session? Even if i can only hit 5 reps on the last amrap set?
2. I have been alternating Squats and Deadlifts as an A and B workout, is it always Squats Mon/Wed and Deadlifts only once a week on Wed?
3. Are the increments supposed to be for example 2.5lbs on each side of the barbell? Or in total?

My lifts as of now in (lbs): OHP 85, Squat 140, Bench 135, Bar Rows 115, Deadlifts 140.

It was my understanding that if you complete less than 5 reps on the amrap you have to de-load 10% of total weight and work back up. If you're getting 5 reps, then the program says to continue adding weight.

As for how often to increase weight, well I assume that you increase each session in a lift until you can't get 5 reps

also, don't overtrain, you'll know when you've done too much when you get sick, like a cold for no reason, you'll just start getting sick, although if you're just doing the boxing class this won't be a problem but as you get better you might want to stick around after or before class and get some rounds in or practice on the speed bag or run or just do general boxing shit

I come from a powerlifting background, have trained both karate and jiu-jutsu though. I'm by no means perfectly in shape, I'm packing a few extra pounds which I'm trying to lose. Thanks for the advice on overtraining, I'm thinking about cutting out my gym-work and keeping my cardio and now martial arts training as the core.

No, doing curls without fish oil wouldn't cause tendinitis normally but hey if it would fish oil might help. Just buy the cheap store bought kind. Rest-pause training is a very successful way to gain muscle fast, but it won't work long-term. I'm not sure about the every day part of it but it wouldn't hurt to try it.

The calf thing is bullshit though, unless you literally never walk or run anywhere, then it might help. Usually people benefit more from heavy calf work because they walk a lot and their calves are used to high volume light work.
