Meh doesn't seem too bad. I'd learn to like unsweetened tea if I were you but Stevia won't make you fat. Honestly just count your calories. I suck at counting macros, but adding up protein and calories every day in a notebook or your phone is easy to do. Just don't give up. I lost weight, but every time I start lifting again I fall off without realising it after a few months. Stay committed.

during late novice stage - squat 3x5 heavy twice a week with a recovery day in between those sessions, on that day do the deadlift
at a certain point during SS/SL it gets ridiculous trying to squat and dl heavy on the same day, Rip's programming book has good info on how to adapt training when that time comes
