I was in Quebec for a trip and I worked out in one of their gyms. Fuck me. Hairy fuckers in there. And the French is nasty. Do like the place though.

I literally found motivation this last few days
>Be a college student at a pretty nerdy school
>Go home for a few days for thanksgiving
>Visit all my friends at home, who all go hard as fuck
>This made me depressed, because I had to go back to my nerd school where everyone is square as fuck
Then I had an epiphany, I was at a nerd school for a reason. These kids at the local Junior Colleges are not going to accomplish anything with their lives. Im almost 20 years old, and I just sit on my ass smoking weed all the time. But, I got into this school for a reason, I have potential. I can accomplish great things with motivation (something I never had).

The second I got back to school, I decided to devote myself to working out and studying. Lets see if this motivation lasts...

Baked Beans

2 cups navy beans, soaked for 12 hours
2 cups bean juice
Water (enough to cover beans)
1 onion
3 garlic cloves
1 tbsp hummus
1 tbsp tomato paste
1/4 cup molasses
1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
1/4 cup ketchup/mustard
1 tsp chili powder
1 tsp salt

Bring your beans to a boil and let them simmer for 30 minutes. Strain but keep the bean juice, 2 cups should be good, but save it all just in case. Add in the onion, hummus, salt, and chili powder. Bring to a boil again and simmer for another 30 minutes. Transfer all of the contents of your pot to a slow cooker. Add the rest of the ingredients. Cook on low for 8 hours or high for 3-4 hours. Stir occasionally and add more bean juice in order to avoid burning the beans if necessary.

Do you really need to do warm up sets if you're doing high reps? If you're doing a 20 rep set (with no rest pauses) the weight is only about 60% 1RM so would it be safe to just pick it up and go?

I'm going into rehab soon. I assume there won't be protein powder or squat racks or benches. Can I do bodyweight routines to retain what little strength/mass I have for potentially months before returning to heavy compound lifts?

Maybe focus on unfucking your chemistry before you worry about strength and conditioning training.

Also I assume most rehabs have a gym, do steady state cardio, 1 hour a day, heart rate bewteen 120 and 160.

No gains, but your heart and lungs will thank you for it.

that said, I feel a difference when i dont smoke
as for the drinking as long as it's hard liquor and not too much too often you'll be fine, you dont have to stop living to make it brah
