Hey /fit/
Can you guys recommend a workout for me?
>>39548793
ANY workout will do desu senpai
Fork put downs until failure.
But seriously read the sticky.
>You have touched more weights than girls for the past years
That's not abnormal

no exactly the same: zero
by a long shot
Hello /fit/
I am 6'4 height, my friend is 5'7.
How do i explain to my friend that my longer limbs make it much harder for me to squat the same weight as him even though the weight is the same.
i tried explaning to him the femur length, hip placement and so on.
I know its just excuses but still annoying when hes literally so dumb that he cannot comprehend that i need to move further so my muscles will have to work harder
>>39548770
Tell him he's a manlet so he'all kill himself and stop wasting space and making the gene pool shit
>>39548770
stop lying to yourself and your manlet friend and learn how to squat
>>39548770
Feeling humiliated, huh?
How should a squat feel? I'm asking because with bench, I can feel my chest doing the work. With accessories, I can feel my targeted muscles doing the work. With rows, I can feel my back doing the work etc etc.
But with squats, I don't feel any particular strain in any particular muscle, it just feels like a general unspecific strain. Is this normal? I think my form is good and my squats exert more sweat and energy than any of my other lifts, so I think I'm doing them right... but should I not be feeling more strain particularly in my legs/glutes?
When I squat down I feel my hips and hamstrings get tight and when I stand up I feel my quads and glutes contract.
It isn't an isolation exercise, you aren't meant to feel strain in anyone muscle. Everyone is built different and has different strengths; that will greatly impact your form/stance and what muscles do most of the work.
Have you tried olympic weightlifting shoes? My glutes and hips were stronger than my legs ( I used to only deadlift). So I bought some oly shoes to take bring my legs into my lifts more. I felt more contraction in my quads than I had previously and my squats/deadlifts are getting stronger.

tfw you think you are kind of a big guy and then go to Hogwart's gym and see Hagrid deadlifting 2000lbs without a belt
tfw when you feel like a master twink fucking with all sorts of bears but then you come down to Hogwarts' dungeon and see Hagrid in assless chaps.
tfw you stumble around the halls at night with your marauders map. you see hagrid is in dumbledores office and think they wouldn't mind if you stopped in to say hi. tfw you see professor dumbledore getting his ass pounded by hagrid. tfw they threaten to expell you unless you join in. tfw you're getting double teamed by hagrid and dumbledore while the phoenix sheds a tear and bursts into flames.

>Tfw you use the phoenix tears to heal your bleeding asshole
Is it possible to (naturally) increase aerobic capacity without sacrificing gains and strength?
>>39548200
Run and swim. Cardio increases strength noticeably anyway. It's just a meme to reject cardio purported by fat 'powerlifters' that die of a heart attack at 31. Just run and swim. Swimming is better for increasing lung capacity. Running is better for cardiovascular efficiency and getting more oxygen to your body.

How does rowing compare?

Simply incorporate into your workout.

what exercises do you guys do for delts
I currently only do OHP and lateral raises. Should I add something or is that enough? Doing greyskull
Standing OHP for my heavy sets.
Seated behind the neck press for 3x8-12 for more overall delt work.
One arm dumbell push-press (circus press) with big weights for AMRAP. Some days I'll use a weight I can do 10 reps with, some times I'll use a weight I can only do 2 or 3 with.
Lateral raises (properly, straight arms, no head bobbing fag raises)
>>39548059
>He only works the medial deltoid
LEL
>>39548059
you shouldnt add more volume on greyskull, but try out dbpresses only down to 90° elbow for lateral delts, instead of raises
After walking up to girls objectively less attractive than me in class and getting their numbers, followed by rejections to my proposed lunch / café plans, I've determined this is a bad way to get a woman interested in you, yet being constantly aloof to arouse interest means you arent brushing shoulders with enough people. And I have too much self-respect to use dating apps / tinder. What do?
Trying to get girls is a catch 22
You need them to be interested in you but if you talk to them or ask em out they lose interest but on the other end if you ignore them they wont notice you
You need luck to get a girl, thats is really
>>39547969
Die alone.
>>39547969
Yeah it's a delicate touch. It's usually best when it's a girl that sees you on a somewhat regular basis from work or hobbies or similar hangout locations like a bar or gym. Get into a routine of being somewhere social and the girls will come.
So I fell on my wrist about a month ago and since then I can't do any flat or bent palm pushing (push-ups dips etc) because it hurts in the area below my thumb .
Anyone have experience with this? Do share stories, how long it took you to heal and what you did while it healed.
>>39547837
Got a scaphoid fracture 2 years ago. Didn't know what it was for a long while until I finally went to a doctor. It didn't heal on its own even though I had it in a brace. Finally got surgery and currently in a cast. I recommend you get it checked asap since having it restrained will increase the chances of oit healing properly. If it doesn't heal on its own you might need surgery.
Forget about bench pressing or OHP for a while. I was able to do dumbell presses after a while though. Deadlifts were fine too.
I got a scaphoid fracture like 2 years ago playing rugby and didn't get it fixed for a few months, by the time I did I needed surgery
It took about 6 months to heal fully but they allowed me to being working out again after maybe 4 months. In the mean time I just did cardio and leg press (couldn't hold the barbell for squats while in a cast) and I didn't bother doing any one handed upper body stuff cause I figured it would be stupid
Have you seen a doctor/had it x-rayed yet? If it is a scaphoid fracture get it dealt with as soon as possible because unless you do it quick you'll need the surgery

To be clear I can still do bench, ohp basically everything without pain as long as my wrist doesn't go past 30 degrees.
I'll definitely try get it checked out this week. Thanks anons.
It's time for pizza again.
>Reminder that it's not bad to eat a pizza once in a while unless you're already a fat fuck.
>>39547814
>tfw I eat pizza at least 3x a week
looks ewwww
>>39547814
why the is the recommended protein intake 56g a day for men? they want us to not make it?
Do i eat 200 grams of tuna with 200 grams of rice or 200 grams of BRAZILIAN RIBEYE STEAK WITH BUTTER alone?
Does the fact that the steak is Brazillian make it special or something?
>>39547815
OP is specially retarded
>>39547815
yes
What do you think my body fat is /fit/? Currently eating 1300kcals a day to get in shape before bulking

>>39547652
Thanks for the answer. Here is another picture but this one's older.
Also what do you think about my diet?
hey /fit/ i'm changing my routine.
i'm switching from greyskull to PPL, because full body routine doesn't give me the intensity and the pump i get from focusing on just one body group. so which is the best version of ppl if i can train 4 or 5 times a week?
also od i really need those amraps? i don't want to fail a rep with those heavy ass weights.
thanks in advance
>>39547355
>can train 4 or 5 times a week
Why aren't you looking into Upper/Lower splits instead?
>>39547355
Why would you do a PPL routine if you can only train 4-5 times a week? If you train 5 days a week 100% and don't care about having chicken legs go PPLPP, but it's a pointless routine if you don't go 5-6 times 100%.
Add hang clean and press, and barbell rows, you're set for life
Post some /fit/ success stories brahs.
>>39547295
>He cut for that 5.5/10
>lost all those potential gains
>could be benching 5pl8
>instead twig girl
>>39547331
I'd fuck her. I say if your happy good for you op. It's your life, your opinion is the only one that matters.
Would you rather lift for aesthetics/size or play a sport? Why?
>in b4 "why not do both"
>>39547294
>Be me
>always played soccer
>start lifting, like it, but soccer still king
>luv me some heavy ass squats and deadlifts
>getting too big for soccer
It is an abstract kind of feel
>>39548624
Do you have massive calves?
Every one on my soccer team lifts and they all have massive calves.
>>39547294
Soccer aint a sport just a bunch of nacy boys
