So I just learned about these other types of weights called kilograms and apparently they're heavier than pounds. What I'm thinking is of a new way to lift heavier weights by tricking your mind into thinking its lifting the weight you're used to. There's a lot of studies done on the mind and how these things are possible if you don't even know you're doing it. What I'm thinking is say I deadlift 200 pounds, instead i put 200 kilograms on and since I see the 200 weight on the bar ill be able to lift it thinking its 200 pounds when its really like 250 pounds or something. With this newer type of weight you would be able to increase all your lifts just by switching from pounds to kilograms. I'm going to try it for my squats tomorrow and see what it's like, let me know what you guys think.
