Hey /fit/ I'm looking to start working out and I was wondering what is a good workout routine is. I'm very skinny and I want to put on some muscle. All I have available is two 15 pound dumbells and a small room. What exercises should I do and how many reps of each? Should I be working out every day? I know nothing about how this works. Your advice would be much appreciated

This is what I've noticed. Most corporate jobs are filled with rugged, handsome and masculine males who all do some kind of physical activity. I live in France, but in our equivalent of STEM fields, I rarely find the same good-looking people.

Is looking good a must in some professions? Could any of you guys give some hindsight?

Okay guys I got a question for y'all, I been eating at about 1600 calories a day, without losing a single pound but I just used the sticky to find out my tdee and it says I should be eating at 2400 to lose weight. Have I been eating too little to actually lose weight ? Would like some advice please . If it helps I'm 6"2 230lbs and mildly active

Hi everyone

Keeping it short: I want to lose fat, and since I can't really exercise (except walking in a slow pace) I want to focus on dieting. I (20 yo, 148lbs, ~15% bf) am currently getting ~1468 kcal & ~152g of protein/ day (with a rather varied diet)... so my question is: can I even maintain my muscle this way?

I thought (and still do...) that the protein intake is sufficient for muscle maintenance, while the caloric deficit assures more or less weight (fat) loss - but I'm hearing people say that I'll still lose muscle because I'm not exercising (working my muscles). ← Is this bro science, or not? I'm afraid I'll end up losing equally much muscle as I'll be losing fat :(

Could someone just hand me the facts on this? I am motivated to make an effort to lose fat, but I want to be sure in regards to the actual effects.

Yeah. Have been doing that for a couple years. I weigh 220lbs. My OHP is 190, bench is 300, deadlift 450 and squat 360. I really want to cut to 12% I just get so fucking hungry, man. I drink about 6-7 liters of coke zero per day. 4 minimum. Sometimes Light if I run out. I believe Zero here is ciclamate, but who the fuck knows, I travel the world and it varies from country to country.

I never thought this shit could be wrecking my cut
