Its very possible, just run alot, and run hard. I used to be 250 pounds and I ran a mile once or twice a week last summer and I ended up getting my mile down to 6:21 at 230 pounds. Im sure if i kept it up I would be running sub 6 now that im 210.
From vegan to carnivore. I am 5'3" and female. Was 132lbs now 154lbs in 3 weeks. Obviously a lot of fat gained. I want to get rid of the fat (more because I am too poor to buy new clothes). I lift 3 times a week. I know a bit of the fat gain is probably my body freaking out. Now I did a food diary for a few days and noticed I'm eating around 1400-2400 a day as well so I am really confused as to why I have gained so much. I've always thought calories in equal calories out. My lifts have been getting better which is good but I am concerned about the amount of fat in my mid section popping up especially as I'm not binging on meat.

You can sort of mask it with clothing, look up tips for women with broad shoulders.
As for routine, I'd say try only a little bit upper body, and focus on ass and thighs. No upper body might leave you flabby there, that's also not a good look.

In fact the whole reason "8-12 for hypertrophy" is a thing, is because when they did the studies on hypertrophy response, 8-12 provided the necessary time under tension needed for the best hypertrophy given the CORRECT TEMPO of lifting they kept constant.
So doing 8-12 reps as fast as possible won't actually achieve the goal that 8-12 was originally specified for.
So now you can feel smug and superior when you see fuccbois speed repping their incline db bench for 8 reps.
It's an irrelevant meme that is perpetuated by people that can't even do 1/2/3/4.
Progressive overload is all you should care about.
