Got it done on Friday, and it is immobilized for 4 weeks.
What are some exercises I can do besides legs?
This is suffering.

Do you feel insecure when even taller guys manlet-ize you?
>>40852930
I had a friend like that and would actually get pissed when I stand next to him when girls are around, the only time I feel like less of an autist in comparison to a normie. But seriously who cares.
No
At 6'6 I'm already past optimal 6'3-6'5 height so anyone taller than me is even worse off
>>40852930
>Do you feel insecure when even taller guys manlet-ize you?
No actually I have a weird kind of respect for them. I'm 6'4 and the tallest person I know so when I see a guy tower over me I give a little nod.
Brehs I had my med school interview today and I don't think I did too hot. It was a brutal 1.5 hours long interview. I feel like shit. I worked my ass off for so many years, so many people are counting on me to get in. What's the best lift to make myself numb?
>>40852865
>What's the best lift to make myself numb?
Skullcrushers should do the trick
>>40852865
Why did it go bad?

I'm Canadian and my interview was at Queen's University. They have something called Multiple-Mini Interviews (MMI) -- 6 stations that involves either a policy, ethical scenario, acting/drawing, or personal-type question. You have 2 minutes to read a prompt, then you go into the room where two people evaluate you based on your response ~5 minute response, followed by a question. Even though I practised a lot, I felt like the questions asked were reaaaally out of left field. No scenario questions either; just policy and acting stations, which are always tough.
Then there was a 20 minute long panel interview. The interviewers seem REALLY apathetic. Their body language from the get-go made it seem like they were disinterested, and the questions they asked weren't really ones where they could get to know me better. I feel better about the panel, though.
I'm usually hard on myself, but I don't know man, I didn't feel like I did amazing.
Dead srs, I have had gyno since I've been a child and just noticed I was literally lactating. I haven't done steroids so I'm almost positive its pubertal gyno. I'm seriously done with this shit, and I dont have the money for surgery. I looked this up and everyone said its not a normal problem, am I fucked??? please help /fit/ I wake up everyday worrying about my gyno I just want it gone
Doctor. Now.
>>40852823
Letrozole, and or liquinol. If that doesn't save you, only surgery will
>>40852928
>>40852934
don't listen to either of these gays
hop on tren right now, and start training 5x a week. barbell compound and accessory split, squats/dl 2x a week and destroy any chance you had left at a normal life. gyno kills, your best bet is to be aesthetic in your coffin.
>TFW can only dumbbell press 45lbs
>TFW can only overhead press 65lbs
Give me one reason to keep going... I'm weaker than anyone else I've ever seen.
Last October I was doing 45lb bench and ohp. Now I do 165 bench and 115 ohp. You will make it anon just stay determined.

Are body fat calipers the most accurate way to measure body fat % or is there a more accurate way
Plz respondorino
> D E X A
Calipers are a decent estimate, but no more accurate than one of the electric devices. they can be off as much as 10% (just just store fat differently). Most accurate method is getting weight in a tank, by a professional with the rig. That'll be within an error margin of a single percentile.
>TFW keep wasting all my time on 4chan instead of improving myself
How do I stop bros???

Hey bro don't forget to renew your subscription to mom science magazine
>normies
>>40852398
Can you ask her if I can borrow some activated almonds?
>>40852398
there's a bit of truth to it, if you're eating at night and you've already eaten during the day there's a higher likelyhood you'll eat at a caloric surplus, esecially if you're a stupid normie.
Also it promotes good eating habits in terms of willpower and not eating like a pig
I really hope you're having sex with her to be dealing with this.
>be me a week ago
>poverty bench press
>decide enough is enough and do bench every time I go to the gym

Does vaping affect health in anyway? Non-nicotine
It affects your social health
>>40852240
I used to trip over on /g/, and I use to run most of the e-cig threads before one mod went on a fucking rampage and starting insta-banning anyone that mentioned vapes.
The ingredients in vape juice are not inherently dangerous, but putting anything into your body will have an effect on you. E-cigs are objectively safer than smoking cigs, but are more probably than not, not better for you than breathing air.
It turns you into an insufferable cunt
Deadlift day tomorrow
Goodnight /fit/
Rest day tomorrow :(
>>40852188
Goodnight friend.
Bowling day tomorrow. Had a nice workout today though and I'm only at 1800 calories with all my protons.
Goodnight OP
Don't have a kid nor am I expecting anytime soon but I was curious as to how /fit/ would/is/has raised their child(ren) and the differences in strategy between genders. To keep it /fit/ related, the main task at hand is: What sports/fitness programs would you teach them as they grew, please include both male and female strategies in your post and age estimates. I'll include mine in a separate post as I too would enjoy speculating on the process of raising a child in the future.
For both male and female child I would wait until the age of 8 to ask them what sport they would like to play and structure a fitness routine and diet around the sport, whether it be football, soccer, hockey etc.
>Male
Once they have reached their teens I'd suggest a combat sport to try to teach them discipline and defense in the event of an emergency. I'd be harsh but not overbearing when it comes to academic studies and help whenever I can. I'd teach them my outlook on life and what it means to me but also tell them to come up with their own conclusions as that is what we are here for. The urge to study history and philosophy would be there too.
>Female
Be strict on rules so she can't get out of hand(this too for the boy) and make it well known who the parent in the relationship is. In her teens I'd spoil her every so often but also teach her the importance of working for reward. Show her how to shoot for defense in addition to combat sport classes(not those frilly seminars that teach aim for the scrotum, every man unless he was sheltered knows how to protect the jewels). Tell her that anything is possible but not without testing your mettle and showing that you can do what you want to do. In the end try to save enough money for her so she can live an easy life.
In both cases I would love each to the best of my ability and never get angry and yell at them, instead show them what they did wrong and how to right it. Hunting would also be taught to both children.
>>40852130
boxing and jiu jitsu starting at 8-10, regardless of gender. for a girl, i'd emphasize judo as they reach their teen years to compensate for sexual dimorphism, and i'd have my son's training lean towards kickboxing to maintain/improve flexibility.
both would be weight training when they're physically capable, probably 14-16.
cardio would come in the form of playing outside with either me, their mother, or their friends (until they're old enough to have other obligations or it becomes unrealistic, then running/biking/swimming a couple times a week).
Probably laterally until he grew too heavy then clean it
In 9 weeks my brother is going to force me to go to a normie memorial day beach party with 50+ people all older than me. This means I only have 9 weeks to grt rid of my piece of shit love handles. Any tips?
Pic unfortunately related
Funny, I was about to make a thread asking how to get rid of love handles. Shits fucking terrible.
Eat less. In the morning, do cardio for thirty minutes. Don't drink any soda. Don't eat sweets. Try eating only one or two meals per day, or even fasting for one day every weak. The only principle of weight loss, which is a simple one, is to consume fewer calories than you burn. A calories tracker may help.
