Hey could use some advice on this mental health tfw gf topic.

I'm not normally the suspicious type but last night I was joking around with my gf of almost 2 years snapchat and when I accidentally pressed send snap I noticed the send list and her ex was like 8th place in the recent category.

I don't know much about snapchat because I never had it but she told me she blocked him on everything and doesn't talk to him. but I took her phone and saw a convo she had with him last July talking crap about me. to be fair we were in a big argument and I was being an ass hole but still wtf. And the convo was fragmented and I believe the majority of the convos were not there (if anyone could explain that)

She's saying that he's back on her snapchat just in the last couple of weeks because she unblocked and added him in July when she was mad at me but he just accepted her request in the last couple weeks.

She says his old spot in her recent list was taken back when he was re-added but I think that's bullshit right?

She also said that any snaps she mightve sent to him would of been because she included him in multi recipient snaps with pics of me and her and stuff so that she could make him feel bad because he fucked with her mind in the past. but she insists she wasn't trying to make him jealous.

would he be in the recent list if she included him in a multi recipient message or does the mean that she has been privately messaging him?

The truth is however that I don't believe that she cheated on me because of the circumstances and how risky and hard it would have been to do that for her. plus he's overweight ugly and apparently has a micro penis. so I think that there is a chance that she just has no friends so she hits him up when she's mad at me so at least she can have someone to talk to even with no intention of cheating but i don't know..

Sup /fit/ what kind of earphones do you guys use when working out? I'm currently using the earphones I got with my Samsung but they tend to fall out of my ears from time to time. Got any recommendations?

I used to buy those ones with the ear loops to hold them on, which are cheap, like $15-$20, now I use even cheaper sony earbuds. Like the $10 shit. All that sweat and getting abused in the gym is terrible on headphones/earbuds. Anyone that wears expensive headphones to the gym is a retard. I keep that shit at home.

all the huge muscle/low bodyfat guys at my gym do crossfit. I mean it's probably bad for the joints but it makes people real /fit/, you guys give it a way bad reputation for no reason

Hello /fit/.

I come from /r9k/ seeking advice.

I'm tired of being a fatfuck (6'1, 260lbs) and am finally motivated to do something about it. This week I've been keeping track of calories and recording exercise, cutting out junk, etc. Habit forming.

I've already read the sticky and it's mostly stuff I already knew.

What I want to ask is if there's anything /fit/ could add that would help a lowly tubbo get his life together again

one thing that's really important is: don't view whatever you're doing as a temporary lifestyle change e.g. if I can just diet for 6 months I can go back to normal. look at this whole process more as trying to inculcate positive habits that become a new normal. This is hard, and it's slow, but it's the only way to make sustainable progress.

Motivation isn't enough; discipline is the critical thing. But discipline, fortunately, can be learned. Don't bite off more than you can chew, but absolutely don't allow yourself to regress after having made progress.

A good first step for me, was to go completely cold turkey regarding fizzy drinks. Once I realised I could break a harmful habit by myself I knew there was some hope for me after all. And hey, if I, a guy around your height who started 140lbs heaver than you, can make a lifestyle change then I'm damn sure you can too.

Former dyel here. I've read the sticky (just did the rippitoe 3x5 today) but still had a couple questions either I somehow missed in the sticky or weren't answered at all

1) How long should I be following this plan until im considered "intermediate?" I know I'm going to get there in a matter of a couple weeks, but realistically what kind of time frame would be considered normal for that?

2) while not a really important one I'll ask anyway. I need some new headphones and was wondering what /fit/ would recommend. I was using LG tones for the longest time until thhey finally gave up the ghost after 4 years and would like to have something similar if possible.

Do any of you guys know a beginner/intermediate running plan for a faster 5k? I can already run a 5k in less than 30 minutes and I want to get that time into the low 20's but every plan I find is for complete beginners just wanting to complete a 5k. Any advice?

There is a book called "Daniels Running Formula." Find a copy and based off of your current experience and ability, pick one of the programs at the back and follow. The book is in the third edition but for your purposes the second will do if you can buy it cheaper that way.

As I understand, it is more of a fat burner than a pre-workout (may be the same thing for you depending on what you do).
After reading tons of opinions the common point is that you sweat like a motherfucker, with the occasional boner if taken with caffeine.
