Dunno what OP's medical problem is, but ten years ago I had to be operated on to stop my retina from detaching. I check back with an eye specialist every year and he said I shouldn't lift heavy things or spend time upside down (yoga for example) because it will stress my eyes to the point of damage.
So STOP lifting weight, and I know doctors aren't free in America, but you need to see get your eye as check. Try an optometrist at an eye glasses shop first, they can do more than measure out glasses prescriptions.

I'm interested in getting a job at bartending. I currently have a full-time job at a hardware store. I get paid $8/hr and have worked there for 2 1/2 years. A few pros about the job: it keeps constant non-changing hours, I get holidays off, and I learn as I work. The cons? No outlook to any raise anytime soon, boss wants to cut hours in the future, and just being disinterested in learning anything there now. The one I am interested in will be opening New Years Eve, offering $9/hr from 4 to 12 PM on weekdays and Saturday 4 to 2 AM. I'll be starting off as a barback but can work my way up to a bartender.
My problem with this is that I feel like I will regret making this decision. Maybe the hours and payment are a lie to get me to work with them. They don't know I work full-time and they don't know I get paid the amount I do, so they are not bribing me with that. I also feel like it will be a very shitty job in general and I will be treated badly. If it's important, I've had four jobs total and am 22 years old.
And yes, I have considered working both jobs and refuse to do so. Working 8 AM to midnight nonstop does not sound fun.
So, help me please. Am I being paranoid? Should I stop being worried? What would you do?

I met a girl who was in town only til the end of summer, so we only had 4 months to date. but she was one of the better girls i had ever met so i went for it.
i personally don't see myself ever getting married, but even when i did, i didn't think about it too much. if i liked someone and we were having fun, why not just have fun. when its time to move on, you'll know.
i tend to date in 3 month cycles or less.

I have set a goal myself this holiday season to meet at least one woman and get one phone number.
Where the fuck do I begin? I don't bar crawl or go clubbing. I don't really visit places where women could be found easily. Well I go places where women are but I am looking for a place where it wouldn't be weird to talk to women.
Also, I find it strange that I have a hard time picking out women my age. For example, I am 25 and I rarely see women my age just out doing stuff. Maybe I am bad at guessing a females age? I honestly seem to only ever see old people, people in their mid 30's with kids and shit OR girls still in high school who I don't want to mess with.
Where the fuck are all the 20 something year old females?
Also, what can I do to progress this goal?
