This just sounds like a classic case of disassociation. Your thoughts and reasoning for those thoughts, don't sink up to your moral/life standards and it's causing a disconnect.
Take some time to figure out what you're doing. You disconnect when you don't care, or want to escape from the situation. Find something that drives you and stick to that. A long term goal.
I say long term, because this isn't something that's going to click over night. Focus all of your efforts on a goal and you will cling to it early on. After a while, the long term goal will become something that is ingrained in you, or routine. Something you're working towards everyday regardless. When you're working towards your goal as a second nature, your mind will relax and allow you to focus on the other things around you, while still having your goal in the back of your mind.

I have started to lose interest in animation. Sadly I have built my whole life around animation and I can't stop doing animation without wasting the money that was put into my schooling. I'm wondering if there's any way for me to get back to loving animation. I'm unable to take a break without throwing away my efforts up until now. I'm a bit at a crossroads between no longer doing animation and doing something else or just continuing on in hope that one day the spark will come back

For me, personally, doing something I'm passionate about usually go back and forth between extreme interest and general apathy. I study everyday for about an hour. Sometimes more, but at the least an hour. That way even during times of low interest you are still making progress, and you can pursue other interests in the meantime.
So, my advice would be not to really "search" for that spark again, but to stick to your decision and gently ride out waves of disinterest that come every now and then. If your interest never really comes back after a long time, then you could always branch off into something similar to animation (I don't really know what, as it isn't my field) or just start all over again in a different field.
Just keep at it. You will get where you want to be eventually. Don't give up just yet.

So I've been dating this one girl, and it's been going great so far. I even already spent two nights at her place, but we've only been making out these two times. I guess she just didn't want more yet because she was scared that I would be "just another fuckboy".
Tonight I'm going again and I was hoping that we could go to the next base, but there's a problem...

Can I still expect to go to the next base with her?
I don't wanna just use her for sex, but I just don't feel comfortable going to her to spend the night there, the THIRD time, without even having sex.

My parents taught me to stand and wipe bottom to top but I'm 20 now and didn't realize until a couple years ago that most people wipe from a seated position.

Male. 30. 5'4". Average 100lbs.
I love eating, specially asian food. That sh*t makes me diamonds. I work at home and I always have a bowl of chips cuz I can't concentrate unless I'm chewing on something.
Last month I ate the most food I've ever eaten in one month. Went to a Dim Sum place with a Chinese friend and kept eating all the food she kept bringing to the table. Even after being full, I kept eating because everything look so good and tasted amazing.
A week later I went to a sushi place. Same thing happened cuz I have no self-control.
Same thing a week after, different place.
Each and every time I had diarrhea when I got home. Last time, it was just straight up liquid. I did have a lot of tea that time though, so...
Either way, I'm still 100lbs. What gives?

i like to go for kbbq which is all you can eat. but what you don't realize is that the portions are small enough that after eating 'many plates' you've still only eaten 1 to 2 pounds of food.
which is a lotish but especially with a lot of them being pretty good sources of protien will balance out at just about your daily calorie expenditure and keep you full for the rest of the day / you didn't eat much earlier that day.
in some cases you may have trouble digesting protien (hence, no muscle) and that just passes through you, so you eat a lot of meat iwthout properly digesting it. most of meats calories come from protien.

Do you think it's premature to talk about things such as marriage and children when we've only been in a relationship for a short period? Or do you think the fact we're older and have known each other for a long time supersedes this?
I'd marry the guy tomorrow (despite not really agreeing with marriage prior to this) but would want to experience everything possible with him before having children - perhaps a few years? I just don't want to get behind this idea and find it was powered by idealistic dreams.

Hey /adv/. I've converted from Islam but I still help my dad out in his Islamic "marriage" service. He obviously doesn't know I've converted. It's bad shit.
A year ago we are marrying a 50 year old paki and another girl who looks way too young to be married and is totally draped in full hijab. I ask her dob and she says it's in 2003. Im taken aback and look at my dad. The soon to be husband doesn't speak english unlike the muslim girl who seems british born and do doesn't identify the fuck up. Instead he produces papers saying she is 19. I input that data instead...
During the part where my dad confirms they want to get married by asking 3 times alternatively, the girl is obviously shaky but says yes in English 3 times. The guy is leaning forward heavily and I'm pretty sure doing something to the girl. They get married. Normally people have a little celebration and my dad gives a little speech about the duties of husband and wife but they literally just walked out.
That was definitely the worst example that has happened, plenty of people are happy and smiling, but about 20% fall into the categories like above, obviously abusive, angry male, man already has 2/3 wives, man/woman literally do not speak the same language (Urdu and Romanian etc) and communicate with hand gestures, children getting married, people moving to Turkey, Syria, Saudi Arabia etc, incomplete data/no ID.
My dad needs this money to stay afloat and these dodgy guys often pay the most. However I don't want to be a part of shit that is ruining people's lives, especially when I see a British born girl getting fucked by a hairy old man on the way back to Pakistan. My dad explains that Islamically it's all legal though...
Also the whole issue of how do I break it to my dad who is an Imam that I'm not a muslim. I've pretty much excepted that as long as I'm anywhere near them I'll have to pretend, and there is no better solution. So the first point is more of an issue.
