Do TN monitors still come with terrible color, as opposed to IPS monitors?
>>62358255
TN monitors are fine for majority of uses as long you don't need odd viewing angles.
IPS are better at color accuracy and viewing angles at the cost of speed and panels being more expensive to make.
>>62358255
Nice ass
i've had tn panels for years in my laptops, just got one with an IPS display a month ago, i cannot detect any improved color quality or image quality, just the bigger "viewing angles" which is basically useless on a laptop that will be right in front of your face anyways

Holo the Wise Wolf watches me as I game and program, and she helps keep my CPU and GPU temps cool.
Who watches over you, /g/?
i would like to do this but i think it would get too dusty and dirty for my nendo i would feel bad for them to be in that hot box also my new case is windowless but i would be willing to get a window one again maybe if i fell for the led ram meme
>>62357815
i have almost the same setup as you. except a better computer
*slaps OP with my benis*
Fucking kill yourself, you pathetic loser.
Why do you autists recommend C over C++ when C++:
Makes it easier to use data structures that are more complex than a one dimensional 32-bit integer array
Reduces LoC
Has classes and namespaces
Makes it easier to reuse code
because it's "retro" or some bullshit like that and they think it'll make them more like the "MIT Hackers" of the 80s or whatever dumb shit they idealize.
>>62357736
Thing is, C++ is not a well thought out language. It has no vision hence the language quality is shit
Good luck running c++ on a microcontroller
>tfw you fell for the ryzen meme

Give me a good reason why it's a meme

>>62357554
mainstream sites like stackexchange are highly controlled to the point where they follow the cia brainwashing program to a T.
if you try and get useful information there, you will be subverted. I've seen moderators encourage people NOT to get into motherboard manufacturing because it was "not possible"
>OpenCL
>Not using superior CUDA with NVIDIA GPUs

what type of AI would i use to have 2 small battlebots fight eachother
the goal is to have an enemy team of bots to play against in a moba style battle bot game
AI for actual physical bots isn't the same as AI for videogame bots, you should ask >>>/vg/agdg
Is that a dildo bot?
I don't see any of you people talking about it.
if you have to ask, it's not a real thinkpad
all lenovos matter not just black ones
no is a Mac Apple Google os pad
iPad Pro is considerably more powerful than the android alternatives.
You can say that apple is overpriced, but you get what you pay for. It’s a premium product and it shows. Pic related. The iPad Pro is more or less twice as powerful as Samsung’s best tablet. The iPad Pro makes other tablets look like toys and is more powerful than most PCs.
>THREE TIMES the multi thread score in geek bench
How can android compete?
>samsung

Why does the screen look worse??
>his code editor auto adds a 2nd quote when he types a quote
why the fuck is this allowed?
>>62356697
Why would you ever want to insert a single quotation mark?
you can enable and disable features as you wish.
When was the last time you needed only one paren or quotation mark?
>>62356771
If you're trying to write a TeX file and you need to start all your quotes with backticks

>yes, you absolutely need six cores for video editing and multitasking
>you don't edit videos, use photoshop, or multitask? Well you do now, goy
When did /g/ become the meme it is today?
still waiting for the apu

Let's talk about memes.
Wait, what's the connection between AMD and TrueOS?
Can someone explain the second panel to me? Is that that weirdo from Tek Syndicate?

speak for yourself lad. The 'programmers are all fat nerds' and 'everyone on /g/ is a fat neckbearded loser' memes are largely untrue
He stopped being a realistic character when he had sex with his drug dealer the first episode.
I've installed Fraps and initially everything was working fine; the FPS counter showed up in the corner of the launcher for example. However once in-game, it disappeared. Not only that, but I found myself unable to take screenshots or record videos. I've tried entering queries into search engines but thus far I've found nothing. Is there a solution to this?
Have this image of a nice little settlement as payment.
The specific reason for my desire for a Fraps-like piece of software is to screen-capture game-play, as seen in this picture. It's not feasible when Fraps refuses to take screenshots for whatever reason.
dont use fraps

I don't play to after this. What is a good substitute?
Supposedly there's a liquid in those copper covered tubes that heats up, becomes a gas and then condenses in the top, spreading the heat around the sink, then it cools down, becomes a liquid again and the process repeats. I don't get how this still works when the whole heatsink is turned 90 degrees to the side and mounted on the board? Would the orientation of the heatsink matter?
Also, general heatsink thead.
Last two that I cut open had a sand-like material.

Its called a vapor chamber. They can explode (as was the case with some gpus in the past), effectivly becoming a handgrenade.

Tell me /g/, is Amazon a good place to buy stuff?
Mr. Stallman tells me it's not: https://stallman.org/amazon.html
I want to buy electronics, various equipment, and miscellaneous.
Do retail stores sell these things?
For example, an oscilloscope. Are there any stores that sell oscilloscopes?
>>62355550
Stallman is fucking inept, but if you don't care about amazon likely storing/sharing your purchase patterns, go ahead and buy shit from there. Everyone does it anyways.
>>62355550
amazon is used as a front by the cia. their datacenters are literally next door to cia headquarters in langley.
