What's the visibility like in an RX8? Those pillars look massive.
>>16161479
who cares about visibility when you have a car that can rev to 11k all the time safely if you get a better clutch and remove the rev limiter
>>16161479
the rear visibility on sports car is always shit
Shit but that's normal for a sports car and compared to modern sports cars that's above average.
If Ferrari builds "unreliable italian shitboxes", why the hell do they give a 7-year warranty?
http://www.businessinsider.com/ferrari-offers-a-12-year-warranty-2014-4?IR=T
Please explain /o/.
>>16161260
Because most owners will keep mileage under 5 figures anyways during that time.
/thread
Read the fine print. It doesn't even cover oil leaks. It's more of a service plan than an extended warranty.
>>16161260
Go ahead, buy one but don't come back crying when you have to rebuild the engine right after the warranty ends.
It's happening.
Will Skoda's first SUV, the Kodiaq be the best SUV of 2017?
so what's under the hood this time?
Tiguan?
>>16161009
Yeah, stretched Tiguan.
if they don't release it in the states it won't sell.
I'm doing my first oil, oil filter, air filter and compartment filter change tomorrow, am I in for some shit? Any tips? Should I deposit the used oil in the sewer?
Bring it to an auto parts store
>>16160723
Don't be afraid to use a cheater bar on the filter wrench when you're installing the new filter, they're supposed to be really tight.
Dig a hole and pour the oil into it. Oil comes from the ground anyways so you're basically recycling it.
You're supposed to cook with it
Ferrari.

Ferrari
Ooh, is it Ferrari?
You could get a decent new car every year or two for like a decade with Ferrari money tho
About to buy this, my first shitbox.
'07 Jetta 2.0TDI
Find a flaw.
(Protip: You can't)
>diesel
>VW
>Volkswagen
>Diesel
Seriously. Not trying to antagonize or be a dick in any way. Dont buy VW. Get a toyota.
Where did the whole following of Toyota's never breaking down and being dead set reliable come from, I'm not disagreeing but I'm curious as to how this whole idea and following actually started? Is it just a myth that's gained a following?
>Mfw my AE82 Corolla has done 500,000 KM's now
Japs took their shit seriously and their cars were actually somewhat reliable when following the maintenance schedule, compared to the utter, poorly-made unreliable garbage that the american "car" industry has been pumping out since forever.
>myth
your car has 500,000kms now.
my aw11 has 345,000kms as well
its not a myth.
>>16159912
>is it just a myth?
>btw i have proof of myself that it's not a myth
???
is the audi meme true? what exactly is wrong with audis?
>>16159886
Nothing's wrong with them, most people on /o/ are just too poor to own and maintain one.
Being poor is not a worthy reason to bash something. Sour grapes etc.
Pic related is teh typical audi hater's ride

>shitpost guy doing some shitposting
ok
Overengineering
>Get hit by a giant bar of soap at 65 MPH
>Fly into the air
>Crack head on pavement and die
What were they thinking? All it's done is make the cars fugly.
The car is ALWAYS at fault. For everything. Mostly because the generic citizen is the easiest to milk, but in this case it's less about money and more because nobody is liable for their actions anymore.
>>16159605
I know the cars always at fault, but goddamn, no need to punish it from the factory.
>>16159608
The shortest route is going to the source. And manufacturers don't really care to add shit, because they can just charge more for it.
Not sure where to post this. Need to know what the make and Or model and what airline this junk comes from. The numbers on the fuselage read n102w and there seems to be another letter missing because of a window. Any help appreciated
This is all I have
...bane?
>>16159584
May I ask how the FUCK you know this? Or am I just a really shit searcher. I'd really like to know what you searched for if you didn't already know
How come you cant drive an older cheaper model of porsche without people saying you are trying to look rich?
Why cant you just drive a cheaper model of porsche and just have people think you like the car?
Sour grapes.
Because old cars are shit, especially entry level sports luxury cars.
>>16159463
But the 944 was originally meant to replace the 911 and its still cheap.
Bought this truck to flip, got it running in about 3 hours.
1991 f150 4x4 5.8 auto
Motor, transmission, and limited slip rear all have less than 50,000 miles on them. Bought from original owner for 900. So it should be pretty problem free for a while. Do I keep this truck around for winter and possibly pulling a trailer for other projects ( have 700$ I could pick up another with)...or do I stick to the plan and sell it pretty quickly. I just don't think I can get what this truck is actually worth. Note the drive side needs about 300$ in body work (new front fender)
Depends where you live, in the rust belt it would be a good flip, down south not so much. It's a 1/2 ton super cab short bed which isn't a that sought after combo.
>truck
>bodywork
Just sell it to a good ol' boy and you'll make top dollar for that shit.
nigga that shit looks like garbage
Buick Regal GS - 2000
>3.8 v6 supercharged
Any other car that would be cheaper / better / easier to mod for a sleeper?
I love the look of these and those stats.
>240 HP
>280 lb/ft torque
>18 city/27 highway (I doubt it's that good)
Sleeper's don't run 16's my friend.
>>16158956
Yeah, but that's plenty to shit on any civic fuccboi with a rattler and a ebay header package.
the engine is good, but odds are that transmission will lunch itself pretty soon after you put any power in it.
I've been recently wanting to expand my tool collection because all I have is an alright ratchet and socket set and some wrenches (mostly US craftsman)
to keep some acceptable quality in my tool set should I just continue with USA craftsman tools? I can't afford snap on, nor do I have any interest spending that much on tools when it'll just be me wrenching at home
what tool brands does /o/ recommend?
>>16158630
Get Snap On.
Pittsburgh
>>16158634
>using a 300 dollar wrench set to do basic maintenance on my shitbox
no thank you
>>16158638
pittsburgh is admittedly a good value for some tools, but I'm not gonna make my whole tool set cheap chinese crap
Hey dudes, /out/ here. It's the first time I came to this board so don't get too mad if the questions are shit.
Anyway, I want to buy a motorcycle, mostly for for my outings but also to the daily basis in the summer. I live in a relatively small country so the riding distances are not that big. If you guys can recommend me a good 125cc (that's what I can ride with my car's license) for that purpose I would greatly appreciate. Thanks
Pic unrelated
Who's the cunt?
>>16158551
It's not a 125cc (they're less), but you can't really go wrong with Super Cubs.
