Is it normal to have a headache after a long drive? I notice if I drive for more than 40 mins without stopping, I'll get a headache once I get out of the car. How do I avoid getting a headache from driving for so long?
You have an exhaust leak and are getting carbon monoxide poisoning. Fix it or drive with the windows down when possible.

This, op. Depending on how long you have been driving like this for you may have brain damage. If it's been for a long time (years) then I might consider a visit to a doctor.
>>16162537
Either this or your eyes don't work so good anymore and the head ache is from eye strain. I used to get headaches all the time before I had glasses.
Stream will begin at 10PM EST.

96 taurus GL wagon.
Its an awful car. V6 is slow as shit. The engine wheezes like a lifetime smoker. Its fuckhuge and hard to maneuver in tight spaces.
However, in 2 years of ownership its only needed $120 in repairs, outside of basic shit like oil changes. We did buy it with 65k miles, so there's that.
I'm planning on driving halfway across the country. I've never driven more than six hours straight. What should I know before I go on this road trip?
Eat well. Nothing is worse than having to sit in your own body uncomfortable when you're going to be uncomfortable already.
>>16161895
Lots of snacks, beverages, good playlist of music, copilot for conversation if possible. A blunt or two will make the time fly by.
>>16161895
Bring plenty of snacks, a few drinks (don't want to stop for bathroom every few minutes), a good co-pilot, ALL eurobeat albums, and a seat cushion. Nothing worse than sitting in your seat for over 6 hours and not being comfy.
Optional:
>Tools/fluids for any problems that may occur (coolant, oil, maybe a gallon or two of water)
>Books on tape
>More than one person in your car
>Stops at cities that have tourist spots or any sort of location you may want to visit along the way
And don't forget to have fun. Sometimes you will be so focused on the destination, you forget about the fun you can have getting there.
Other than fluids what all has had to be replaced on your car?

LET'S SEE SUM FUCKING MEAT ON THESE BITCHES
Hello Everyone,
I spent the weekend installing an amp and subs into my 2017 Honda Civic Hatchback EX. After it was complete I notice my air conditioner back-lights were no longer lit and the single blue interior light was also not lit up. I didn't notice this until night driving. Everything else works fine.
I have tried disconnecting the negative terminal for 10 min but that didn't seem to do anything. I tried resetting the infotainment system (holding down the power button for 2 min). That didn't seem to work either. I also made sure it wasn't any of the brightness controls.
I had a similar problem in my 2010 Mazda where some lights were not lit and the audio controls on the center console were delayed. 1 Mazda dealership quoted me for an entire new head-unit! Another Mazda dealer reset the ECU by leaving the battery disconnected for a while and it was free of charge. So in other words, dealerships are just as good as you guys.
Should I try completely disconnecting the battery for 15 minutes or so? in order to reset the ECU? I have the radio security code.
Thoughts?
Could it be the interior lights fuse?

Have you noticed aggressive tendencies while driving when you wore your dick hanging downwards or pointing upwards?

I literally only ever see car enthusiasts driving these things. They're usually bone stock or very lightly modified. Occasionally i'll meet someone who's built theres up to 400wph, but its not common. Its a very adult ownership club, mostly due to the high price of entry.

Have you upgraded your swaybar beyond stock? Is body roll inherently comfy?
Only the rear on mine. Makes it feel tighter when cornering. Doesn't really make any difference when driving normally. Can make the rear end more prone to coming around on you, not nearly enough to consider not getting a bigger swaybar. Don't go too big if you don't plan on turning it into a dedicated track car.
>>16159783
Oh cool! I kinda did the opposite.
I did 1 5/16ths in the front, and am currently waiting for 7/8ths for the rear.
My car is a Lincoln Mark VII, so it has a bunch of bodyroll stock. I was pleasantly surprised how easy it was to switch out and the results were immediately tighter when I took it around turns.
As soon as my rear gets here, I'm looking forward to gaining some oversteer. If that's how it works, I confess I'm ignorant.
FM adjustable sway bars in my 02 shitiata. The OEM sport bars (on the LS trim) were decent, but getting the adjustable bars and tweaking them to fit my preference was fun and totally worth it. I prefer a neutral to slight oversteer setup, and I was able to get it dialed in nicely. When I got the settings right, the car and I just "clicked."
>comfy
Soft bars are nice for cruising, but if you're going to hoon, get proper bars.
Just got it a few days ago for $1,600

How do you turn left out of a parking lot onto a street with a center left turn lane?
>>16158900
Same way you turn out if the center lane wasnt there, wait till no cars are in your way and hurry up
>>16158900
Ha, in some cities, I see semi trucks parked in the center turn lane. Even UPS delivery trucks have parked there for package deliveries as many shops are jewish about providing parking to the point of making customers park in someone else's parking lot.
>>16158900
Use blue if traffic isn't super busy
Used red if traffic is really bad, because you're not going to find an opening in both flows.

How realistic is it physics and driving handling wise?
>inb4 /ovg/
>inb4 get dirt rally
I got this one for free, disabled all asists, play with a keyboard on Group B rally racing and was able to finish 2nd in my third try. I want to know if its just illustion of me being good because the game has similar physics of driving as Driver San fransisco or if i am genuinely fucking good.
>>16149222
Nice trips. I own the game, and I can tell you that the games is really easy to get good at and the physics are not all that realistic (but in a good way)
>>16149222
i have it on the 360, and i've had a ton of fun with it. Once you get the hang of it it's pretty damn easy, but if you're wanting to buy it, do it.
