yall ready for the BMW-Supra Revolution?

why does /o/ hate the tesla? I swapped cars and drove a friends p90d today and tried the ludicrous mode, It is a pretty awesome car. It feels faster than my 911 turbo from 0-60 and has a faster quarter mile as well. It is heavier so the handling isn't as nimble as the 911. But over all, i think it is basically better than a bugatti for like 10x less in price.
I think my next car will be a tesla. The technology is just awesome, self drive, self opening doors, app control so the car pull up from its parking spot to meet you.
Are you guys just bitter shitbox driving contrarians trying to troll normal people?
>>16154509
I drove the p90 too, and you can't argue with the pickup on it, it is ridiculous.
But the inside looks like a fucking rental with an iPad glued to it. Plastic everywhere, complete lack of trim. No soul whatsoever.
Plus, it's a sedan. I'll stick with my two seater.
>>16154509
You had me until
>self drive
And the rest of the techy mom-features are all trash that detract from it. I'm interested in getting an electric as a side-car, but it needs to be sportier and more substantial before it'd be worth the extra expense.
Op, it's time to go to school, mommy won't be happy if you miss again.
it's 2016 and you couldn't even take a single picture of "your" car of "friends" cars to illustrate ? how imaginary is your friend ?
Looking to buy my first overpriced fag car.
2016 370z
Or
2014 TT Quattro s line.
Both done 35,000 kms.
Both $45,000 AUD
Opinions?
>>16154409
>buying VAG ever
Go with the Datsun
>>16154419
Heard the handling is stiff. Guzzles a lot and ugly interior compared with the tt.
What are some pros?
>>16154423
Its not a faggy tt
Z is underrated. Actual drivers car, pigfat is a meme. Get the manual and enjoy vq37

Just a general thread for shit to do before winter hits.
Will washing and waxing my car really help against salt on road and shit? Or will wax rub off with the first few drives in shit conditions anyway?
>>16154113
Buy a Jeep XJ for $2500 and drive that instead.
my winter beater
got some cheap chink all season tyres, holds the car on ice pretty well, also does sick skids at 60mph
good wax won't last all winter but you can potentially re apply mid winter.
also, look up some stuff called fluid film for undercoating to block rust.
it smells fucking awful but you can spray it everywhere no problem.....except the exhaust DONT spray it o. there it'll smell awful for a week
Get in here faggots

Why are there so many NA Miatas that have no front badge?
Because they rattle off, or you accidentally pop it off hitting it with your hand
>>16153974
Idiot
>>16153913
Early models didnt have a badge
Because they are the best
It's definitely the fastest on a mountain pass

People are gonna troll, ask if b8, ect. But,
>Mazda Miata
It may be feminine, it may a meme, but it's been the only entry-level sports car that has existed for decades with prestige, and widely known for its handling.
>Subjectively the most sold entry-level sports car in the world over the decades
>Known for being nimble, light, and reliable
>It may not have power, but each generation was quick for the money in its time
>Always affordable through the times
>Rigid chassis even if convertible, double wishbone front and rear suspension
>known in the car world as the go-to track car
It gave the chance for anybody to enjoy a RWD, light sports car that can keep its speed through the corners. A perfect enthusiast car, who enjoys driving.
Discuss.
>>16153529
Challenger for dat comfy cruising and decent acceleration.
If you live in a area with a track nearby or a twisty backroad then the mustang or camaro would be better if that's your main focus.
>>16153529
Classic 'Stang so I can compensate.

Anyone here mounted their own hitch on their car? I'm thinking about it, but I'm nervous about the work involved. Any pointers from /o/? Big question is, do I need a lift or can I just do it in my drive way?
>>16153437
Dude, unless you're putting it on a fiero you can do it on the driveway.
What vehicle?
Is it for the actually vehicle, or a generic model that needs to be welded?
Class I, II or III?
>>16153437
Hey guys, Chrisfix here!
I installed a hitch on my truck, itll prob be smaller and weigh less on your car.
It can be done in less than 1/2 hour with 2 people.
One person manuevering hitch around and holding in place while other person throws the bolts on really quick to hold it in place.
