Bought this truck to flip, got it running in about 3 hours.
1991 f150 4x4 5.8 auto
Motor, transmission, and limited slip rear all have less than 50,000 miles on them. Bought from original owner for 900. So it should be pretty problem free for a while. Do I keep this truck around for winter and possibly pulling a trailer for other projects ( have 700$ I could pick up another with)...or do I stick to the plan and sell it pretty quickly. I just don't think I can get what this truck is actually worth. Note the drive side needs about 300$ in body work (new front fender)
Depends where you live, in the rust belt it would be a good flip, down south not so much. It's a 1/2 ton super cab short bed which isn't a that sought after combo.
>truck
>bodywork
Just sell it to a good ol' boy and you'll make top dollar for that shit.
nigga that shit looks like garbage

that's like a 2000 or 3000 dollar truck rn

fucking tripfag

Keep it.
Tell ya hwat OP where you at?
Give you $1800

Without the body work its probably an 1800$ truck with its 2,500-3,000 (technically a family has offered more with the body work done but I know that would be me doing free repairs for life)
>>16159122
Who cares it's not rusted out, 4x4 and has low miles on the drivetrain

>Note the drive side needs about 300$ in body work (new front fender)
No, finish the damn job or it will never sell at what you want. It's a Ford too unless you want to handle the factory tier wiring problems much later.

If you got the use for it keep it, as its cheap and can easily be sold for more than you paid down the line.
The fuck is with everyone saying its an $1800 truck? May not be a long bed, but 4x4 with an LSD and 50k miles that thing could sell at nearly 5k depending on how extensive body damage is, and as long as it isn't rotted out or thrashed interior.
>hurr I'd never pay over ____ amount
Rusty clapped out 150-250k mile trucks with questionable repairs or drivetrains sell for $3k all day long if it's a late 80s or older big 3, of any variety, 2wd, 4wd, half ton, 3/4 ton, 1 ton, etc.
Personally I'd keep it and maintain it, hard to argue with for $900. I wouldn't fuck with body repair if you're going to sell it because if it isn't top notch work you're going to be haggled on the price anyways, unless you luck out finding a fender in the same color for cheap, unlikely.

I fully plan on the body work being done no matter what I do with it.
