Correct me if I'm wrong but Australia did not have a big role in Iraq. They were mostly in Afghanistan.

Still these >>32585602 numbers don't add up since the total military size is at least double what they had in Afghanistan. Perhaps the numbers add up in small amounts and groups when you account for the Navy and Air force.

Is it a bad idea to clone the M16a4 as my first AR15?

I hear that the 20" barrel and full sized stock are unwieldy indoors, but if the MUHREENS were clearing rooms in Fallujah with it, then it must be decent enough, right? Also, am I losing out in terms of accuracy because the handguard is not free-floated like modern build AR15s?

I will be going down to Mexico soon for business. I would like to pick up something like pic related while there. My question is, what is the best way to get it back over the border? I have connections, so acquiring the gun will be no issue, my only worry is getting it back home to the states.

I need some different opinions

I'm a PAfag here looking to get a CCW and permit in around July and I've narrowed it down to 3 options

1) CZ-75 compact
2) a rock island 1911 compact
3) a Springfield XD in either .40 or .45

Does /k/ have an opinion of on any of these? I'd like the CZ but I also love .45

desu the worst you might encounter is raccoons, druggies and homeless people. MAYBE a coyote (but it would likely bail) or feral dogs.

Pepper spray may be a safer legal alternative. bare in mind that some states have squatter rights, and although a building may be "abandoned" there may be semi-legal residents.

Looking into getting a reasonably priced revolver pretty soon; been reading & watching reviews for pic related and it seems like a decent choice.

Anyone have a bad experience with Winchester Ammo? I just bought a few boxes of pic related and the quality of the bullet crimps seems to be everywhere. Many of the bullets I can pull in and out of the brass casing (although not completely remove by hand), others feel firmly crimped in place, while others I can spin the bullet freely by hand within the case.

I'm kind of afraid to fire these in my M1A. Anyone have similar experience? I have 6 boxes of this stuff I bought on sale, and all of them seem to have the same problems. It seems to b more than just a simple bad batch.
