When Glock put it's trigger safety into use it was to prevent the trigger from being accidentally pulled by snagging the side of it on a holster or something. The whole point, all of it, the entire reason for it's existence was that the trigger had to have pressure applied to the center to prevent snags.

So tell me, what is the point of pic related?
Is S&W completely retarded?

Calling all gear queers. I'm thinking of picking up a Grey Ghost minimalist plate carrier for my birthday. I already have a Condor MOPC for SHTF/home defense, but I want something less intimidating or that could feasibly be regularly worn under a dress shirt or hoodie. Should I get pic related, the AR500 concealed plated carrier, or do you have another recommendation? Thanks for your time anons.

The AR500 concealed model, for comparison. Seems less sturdily constructed. In either case, nothing would be worn on the front. No magazines or tactical queershit. Just a slick professional appearance.
>>
>>32595692
How do you like the condor MOPC? I'm thinking of getting one soon.

I went to a crossroads gun show in CA... not going to lie, pretty unimpressed.

Curious, anyone know if these are worthwhile?

thinking of going to the one on feb 4th/5th. want to experience a real show, and also looking for an russian sks. wondering if this is a good show and if the milsurps are good there.

gunshows are rarely worth going to for the milsurp guns anymore. Often they have vendors selling good milsurp gear, just be careful not to get ripped off
>>
>>32596254
Any insight on that one show though?

to my understanding milsurps are drying up in general, and at the shows.

/k/ I need help in finding a revolver for when I have money. It MUST be chambered in .357 Magnum. Barrel can be long, but not snub-nosed. No Old West-style revolvers. I'd rather have a more modern one. No Colts, because they are pretty expensive. Capacity isn't a big worry for me. Something like the one in the pic. I'm a gun nut, but most of you know more about guns than I do, so I'm asking you guys for suggestions.

>>
>how much money
>no snubbie
>how long is too long like 3-6" would that be fine?
>no old west, you mean like SAA clones?
>No colts, okay
>Capacity is going to be pretty much 5-7 anyways
>I'm a gun nut but /k/ knows more than I do (this isn't a very high bar you're setting)

OK so what I've gathered from this is you want a Ruger GP100/SP 101 or a Smith and Whatever in .357

those are pretty much your only options can't go wrong with either honestly

>inb4 Taurus

you can I guess it wouldn't be my first pick.

This one looks pretty good. I like it. This'll be a good choice

Should I get a gen 3 or 4?
>>
>>32595318
4 with a steel guide rod. The new dual stage one sucks cock
>>
>>32595318
I'm not completely knowledgeable about the differences but some things to consider

>Gen 3
>better track record, certain Gen 4's have been known to have reliability issues due to design changes
>much more durable finish

>Gen 4
>comes with 3 magazines
>much more aggressive grip texturing
>modular backstraps
>grip circumference is smaller if you choose not to use a backstrap
>larger mag release button

I got a Gen 4 last week, it's nearly perfect right out of the box but one gripe I have is the texturing on the grip.

I cannot recommend either a Gen 3 or a Gen 4, it's something you're going to have to see for yourself really. There's people who love Gen 4's then there's others that fucking hate Gen 4's and swear by the Gen 3's.

I kind of want it now.

They are aggressively shitty. The trigger in particular.
