Why should or shouldn't I buy a Gen 4 Glock 21 for ccw?
If you're sold on .45 for some reason, consider the G30S?
>>32581051
>>32581173
Or G36
For real though with 9mm you'll get more rounds and probably better accuracy. It's all about shot placement.

Because unless you're a real butterball, you are not, in fact, concealing it.

In WW1 and WW2, really most wars throughout history between two major powers, there have been incidences where prisoners are taken.
Usually (in most cases) the prisoners are humanely treated and held until a transfer or end of hostilities occurs.
However there are also cases where if a prisoner was taken of a soldier from a certain unit or branch, he was killed immediately as being too dangerous to be left alive, or the govt made up some story about war crimes or whatever.
The SS being tortured and executed instead of humanely imprisoned is one such example.
My question is, if we were to get into a war with anyone, be it ISIS, China, Russia, or fucking Canada, what units in the American military might receive such treatment?
>Comrade we are of capturing capitalist scum from yonder bunker
>Da! Put them with the other pigs.
>Comrade! Look at this one! He is of having the 69th Made Up Name Patch! He is one of "them!"
>The 69th?! Have this pig shot immediately! You know what their kind have done to our brothers?
tl;dr
>Is there any unit in any US branch that is so hated that if we were to get into war members of said unit would be killed immediately and never taken prisoner.
>If not, what's as close as we can get?
>>32580324
>Usually (in most cases) the prisoners are humanely treated and held until a transfer or end of hostilities occurs.
Not in the pacific. US troops had to be bribed with ice cream and 3 days leave, otherwise there was an extremely high probability of a prisoner never making to the rear.
Maybe Navy seals? There would be made up stories of how they eat and rape litle girls
So my moms friend said I could have a reloading press he "ended up never using". Last year my grandad willed me some cowboy looking pistols when he died. After a guy at the gunshop looked at them he said they where in some oddball caliber but that a lot of people had them switched to .45 ACP.
So my question is how feasible, and what would I need, to reload .455, or would it be easier in the long run to just convert it to .45? (And make them both snubbies for that duel wield ;)?)
>>32580256
B8
>>32580256
Do NOT switch them to .45 because A) that ruins them and B) they cant handle modern .45 loads and C) reloadin .455 isn't hard since I believe you can just cut down .45 LC and use graf and sons .455 die to ensure proper sizing
You caught me, but seriously, is reloading .455 a thing?
Are police officers (law enforcement) everything they are built up to be? Are they "social workers with guns" or "pigs"? Do they know how to use weapons efficiently? Is it worth becoming a police officer with a non-military citizen background?
Personally, I am 18 and wondering if I should go to college to become an officer (thus a college education for good pay) or to go into the trades.
How has your career worked out(regardless of what field you are in)? Any police officers are encouraged to post although I doubt any would because of this sites less than perfect reputation.
>>32580110
They're cops. What people think of them is subjective.
>>32580110
First of all,
Do you actually have any desire to be a police officer?
Secondly your question is vague and depends on the departments and cities themselves
>>32580110
Its up to you what a cop is. My stepdad is a cop and an awesome guy. And ive run into others from his dept that are bros. I've also been held down on 130 degree asphalt with a knee in the back of my neck because "I looked like I was up to something" fucking pig. Held me there for 15 mins
Can we get an infographic thread going? Posting some stuff from my folder to start things off

Skallagrim is weird. He isn't an expert on anything he talks about, knows it and even says it in all of his videos ("I'm not an expert" BLABLABLA). Then you gotta wonder, why the hell is he making videos about things he knows nothing about?

Posted to a QTDDTOT a week or 2 back with this problem. Finally got around to taking pictures.
With no mag:
> BCG operates normally
With mag:
> BCG doesn't rotate enough before contacting barrel and hangs up
Troubleshooting:
- BCG #1 in AR #2 fails the same way
- BCG #2 in AR #1 operates normally
- Unless someone has a good explanation, pretty certain problem is with BCG.

is the 9mm a cuck round? Chances are you won't use more than 8 rounds in any fire fights, in which case wouldn't a bigger bullet be more effective?
