What does /k/ thinks of this revolver?
>>32607396
Grip looks positively anemic
>>32607411
I meant more about firing condition, and estimate value
>>32607431
I'd probably pay <$100 for it in that condition. Is it in .32 S&W?
>he spends his money on custom versions of guns like legions, wilson combats, ricing his glock out instead of using that money on ammo and shooting classes
Friendly reminder that you cannot buy skill.
>>32607190
Reminder that you still need to buy ammo and classes
>>32607190
>needing to go to a class to learn how to shoot
>>32607190
skill and talent are different things. talent is inherent but skills can be taught.
If you were to make a company that made firearms or tactical shit what would you name it?
>Hard Mode: Not use the word "arms" or "armament
Crazy Mikhails
"More Guns than Poland!"
I would call it 'arms armament'
"PROBLEM SOLVAS"
Cool, unusual weapons.

This is the only live fire demonstration of an M202 FLASH I've ever seen.
Is the M&P Bodyguard worth $250? I can get it for that minus taxes.
Wasn't considering until I saw this deal.
>>32606412
I really like mine, I think the deal on PSA over Christmas was ~$240 so your price isn't bad at all. I'd say go for it unless you have more meat on you to carry a compact 9mm easily. If you're thin like me the Bodyguard is a great pocket gun
Sig P238 > all other pocket .380s
>That's a decent price though
>>32606435
I'm pretty small
>>32606444
>1911 style single action only cocked and locked
I feel more comfortable with a DA option honestly
/k/ I need to know whether or not it is legal for me to have a rifle locked in my trunk that I park on a college campus.
>inb4 Shooty McSchool
I have tried to look up the law on it (I live in Georgia, US) but don't really understand whether I am within my rights to do so.
Here is a link that explains concealed carry on campuses, but i am not sure whether or not the rifle in trunk is classified as concealed carry.
http://law.justia.com/codes/georgia/2010/title-16/chapter-11/article-4/part-3/16-11-127-1/
>>32606188
The way I see it is that you can have it, so long as it is locked, and concealed from view within the vehicle.
I come to this conclusion based on this line
>any person to carry to or to possess or have under such person's control
Based on this it must be on your person in some way, shape, or form for it to be in violation.
This is also supported by it not being stated that it is a violation for a weapon to be located within a school safety zone out of someone's direct possession or control.
This is the best I can do. Most people of the law would see it this way as well. It states directly wielding or carrying is illegal, but does not state that a gun cannot be with in a school zone.
>>32606511
ok cool, thanks man.
>>32606553
No problem. I am not a Georgian, but in my state(DE) there are sections that clearly state that a gun, regardless of it being wielded or carried, cannot enter a school zone in any way shape or form. So considering you don't have a line like that, I can assume that it is legal.
Just a thought based on comparison. As long as it is out of sight and secured(you would get fucked sideways if it gets stolen) you should be just fine. I assume you are doing this as you cannot store it in your dorm, and need an alternative?
It being a cartoon aside, what the consensus on his arm-sword thing?

Assuming you are fighting for your life, is it effective to gouge your opponent's eyes/throat when grappling (either on top or bottom) or grab and twist their fingers until they break, or bite their fingers/arms/throat?
I assume a good bite to someones throat or face during a fight could do a lot of damage.
Here's some things that understandably forbidden in UFC which is supposed to be pretty hardcore.
>Head-butting
>Biting or spitting at an opponent
>Hair pulling
>Fish-hooking
>Intentionally placing a finger into any orifice, (no homo) or into any cut or laceration of an opponent
>Eye gouging of any kind
>Groin attacks
>Downward pointing of elbow strikes (see 12-6 elbow)
>Small joint manipulation
>Strikes to the spine or back of the head or anything behind the ears (see Rabbit punch)
>Throat strikes of any kind, including, without limitation, grabbing the trachea
>Clawing, pinching, twisting the flesh
>Kicking the head of a grounded opponent (see Soccer kick)
>Kneeing the head of a grounded opponent
>Stomping an opponent on the ground
If gouging with your fingers and biting during a UFC fight were legal would we see a lot of it or would people still be still punching each other in the nose? I assume gouging or biting people would be used more while grappling

Nothing is dirty in a real fight.
>>32605937
I was more asking how effective it would be
>>32605937
Double this
>“The more frequently one plays violent shooting games, the more accurately one fires a realistic gun and aims for the head,,” Bushman said.
http://www.livescience.com/19984-violent-video-games-improves-real-shooting-accuracy.html
Are FPS games basically training our future soldiers before they even pick up a gun?
>>32605831
can anyone at this point honestly say they are surprised about the media taking an anti gun slant on something?
>>32605831
Yeah, if rifles were two sticks you flicked around to aim.

your life can only improve if you exit the .eu
>EU states backed a bitterly contested EU gun bill on Tuesday (20 December) as part of larger efforts to restrict the circulation of assault rifles.
Okay, that's unreasonable, but it follows a sort of internal logic if you accept the premise-
>The commission had wanted an outright ban on semi-automatic rifles, such as AK47s, and those that resembled their military grade counterparts, and had hoped to limit magazine size to 10 bullets.
-So what the fuck is this bullshit?- Seriously. How does this happen.
>Hey, Jean-Paul.
>Yes, Joerg?
>We should ban assault rifles! That way we'll all be safe from the shootings that occur on a frequent basis.
>But Jean-Paul, assault rifles are already incredibly rare, and crimes committed with assault rifles are almost nonexistent.
>But Joerg! Military style rifles are for the military! Surely you don't think that the average landless serf can responsibly manage a weapon of destruction such as an assault rifle.
>I- well, okay, no assault rifles then.
>What about guns that look like assault rifles?
>But form does not always follow function, Jean-Paul.
Seriously, it's that easy. Fucking GERMANY is in the EU. I'd expect some level of logical competence from them.
Anyone had any luck with ordering from Savage's "Custom shop"?
>>32605719
They have a custom shop?
>>32606430
Nvm found it. You think theyd make one in 8mm Mauser?
>>32606863
Not sure. My first call to their shop put me on endless recorded operator loops. I'm not sure what they're capabilities are. I filled out a firm and sent it in, so I guess I'll wait and see.

Give me one reason not to get an M10X Zhukov this year. The rifle is pretty much everything I would have done to the AK myself had I the freedom to redesign the rifle myself. That and it looks fucking cool.
>>32606626
Explain. I've got a cheap WASR I would gladly offload for that thing.
>>32605547
It does look like a better AK... I'm not a fan of 7.62 but I can understand how this might work for you. Go get 'em tiger.
>>32605547
>because magpul zhukovs look gay?
my only reason for not having one right fucking now is it cant switch between 5.45 and 7.62.
that, and I'm poor
alright guys, you've had a long fucking time to figure this out. Time to decide already. What is the best shape for a pistol grip?
Shape doesn't matter as much as the angle.
>>32605433
decide that too.
look at all these. they all use different grips. They should've decided which was best in the 50s and then put an identicle one on every rifle.
>>32605491
There is no objectively best grip shape, just like there is no objectively best handgunshape. Some people have hands that fit finger grooves perfectly, others can't stand them because they don't fit their hand size.
Though angle is a completely different story. Some people don't like the more vertical grips because they aren't used to them. That's fine, but they still reduce strain on wrist and are objectively better because of that.
If you could stop military tech development at any point in time, when would you choose it to plateau?
I'd personally go for the late 80's or the early 2000's.
When technology starts invading civillian life covertly or taking over in some insidious way, making the general population "combatants", or targets.
Are we already on our way?
Wanting development to cease?? What are you? Dark ages Catholic, Muslim, Amish?
>>32605415
2000!
>>32605474
>Wanting development to cease?
Military development, yes. Nowadays, most conflicts are either resolved with bombings from artillery/air, or through proxies. Now we're entering the unmanned drone era with both feet, and it's ceasing to be about soldiers with guns to be more about long-range missiles and expendable machines that don't need operators.
