I imagine this thread gets run here quite a bit and I apologize if it does and I apologize if it's been done to death, no pun intended.

In brief, did he follow the right protocols? Did he deserve to die? By that I do not mean in an edgelordian sense, but rather did his training fail him? You can hear his voice quaver and crack as he realizes the continuum of force is failing him. You can also hear him scream quite a bit as he's methodically killed.
Someone here knows a hell of a lot more about this than I do. Why did Andrew H. Brannan
succeed? I've been told he 'slices the pie' and uses other techniques. What other techniques does he use?
Did the officer even stand a chance?
pic unrelated
>>32618866
Officer hesitated and that got him killed. His training didn't fail him. He failed himself. Not familiar with what 'technique' Brannan used but it's moot to discuss that. Officer stood no chance after he hesitated
Someone webm that shit so I don't have to give that cancerous site a click
>>32619367
good to know. do you think brannan had an advantage with a long rifle? or is that moot?

For what? Russia will never build another aircraft carrier again. They are too poor for that. India and China are the only ones building aircraft carriers.
>>32616489
Great job running 2.5 sorties per day, then.
Why so much love for the M4, but so little love for the M16?
3% velocity loss for chopping off 20% of the barrel length. Also smaller stock for building clearing.
Unless you're tossing 77gr rounds 400+ yds, you wouldn't ballistically know the difference.

One is used in OPERATOR films and games.
The other was used in Vietnam.
Carbine is kinda just better desu.
So my fiance has been pestering me to go shooting with her dad so we can have some "bonding time" but its kind of expensive bonding time for just a saturday, I'm thinking of keeping a limit on how much he shoots so I dont go broke, not that I'm poor or anything, I just dont want some fudd wasting all my ammo
I'm thinking I'll only charge him 11 cents for .22lr, 25 cents of 5.56, 40 cents for twelve gauge and 85 cents for .308 but for the .308 I'm only gonna let him shoot a few magazines.
How much money should I tell him to bring? Like how much total do you think one guy can shoot in an afternoon?
>>32616154
>charging someone to shoot your ammo
Either make him buy his own or consider nailing his daughter as payment.
>>32616178
This.
>>32616154
You should be thinking of conversation topics not of charging the man, he'll be the grandfather of your children.
Please tell us he's a complete piece of human garbage because either he is or you are.

guns with come style and class to them, but arent tacky either
no engravings or stuff like that
What's a good weapon for taking out rats? I'm shooting them at night, and the red Ryder I was using didn't have glowing sights. I can't shoot for shit with my slingshot, and I'm in my backyard in a neighborhood so I can't use the .22. My budget is $150
A cheap crosman pump pellet rifle shoud suffice for rats and they can be had for around $50.
>>32614018
.17hmr with a suppressor. Or get a crack barrel pellet gun.

What does /k/ think about Germany's new rifle?
Steyr & Rheinmetall RS556
16 inch fast-change barrel

folding stock with 7 positions
compatible with m203 grenade launchers

At first I was ready to object, but then I saw it's a picture of Gripen. So yeah, pretty accurate.
My country could have got old F-16s from US, but they got bribed to RENT fucking shitpens. They keep FALLING OUT OF THE FUCKING SKY!

I would highly suggest going back into the archive and looking at the text wall I posted in the previous threads. It was getting old pasting it every time, so this isn't quite so much to scroll past.
This is the chosen campground and shooting range.
So after a lot of planning, I am pleased to announce that everything is in order for this weekend. An anon is kind enough to go ahead and claim 4 campsites this Friday for everyone who is going.
When you get there, look for the /k/ube signs, that will mark the sites.
I visited the campsite and range in person last weekend and if you are coming west on I20 (IE from Georgia) then the Hwy 9 exit is the fastest route. It will be about 30 minutes of dirt road driving to the campground from the paved road. The road conditions are pretty good for a NF road, but if you are in a low rider you may want to consider hitching a ride with someone else.
The turnoff road to the range is only wide enough for one car at a time and is a little steep with quite a few water bars, so cars are a definite no go on that road. Luckily anons with trucks can help transport everyone.
The fee will be $6 in cash, $3 for the campsite and $3 for the range. Make sure you have it because this needs to be put into the collection box when you arrive.
Weather is set to be partly sunny with a high of 70 and a low in the 50s. No precipitation, so no need to worry about rain. Plan on it being a little bit colder in the mountains.
Food is everyone's own responsibility, but feel free to bring extra if you want to share.
fuck yeah boys
Some Rules Everyone needs to know
Apart from the obvious (be safe, be courteous, don't be an ass, etc.) there's a few specific to where we'll be.
Since it is a national forest we will not be able to have any weapons out in the campsite, it seems to be a gray area having them out for cleaning, but the FS personnel I talked to said it's better to just leave them locked in the cars to be safe.
The range is actually located in the Choccolocco WMA AND Talladega NF, so what that means is there are both federal and state laws we have to follow.
The only one we have to worry about is that we take the most direct route while going to and leaving the range (this is somewhat of a given, but basically don't go trail riding with your guns in the car) and any weapons must be unloaded and in a case. This is part of a cased gun law that has to be complied with, but only in the WMA.
TL;DR When we leave the campsite we will go straight to the range, keep your guns unloaded in a case.
I hashed all this out with the DNR supervisor and I have his contact info for if anyone DOES try to give us trouble.
The itinerary is pretty simple
Everyone gets there and makes camp Friday evening/night, I probably won't get there until 7 along with some other anons I know of.
Saturday we get up and eat, then pack up and head to the range. Plan on bringing lunch to the range.
Unfortunately the range rules do not allow skeet or trap shooting so we will not be able to throw clays.
However, the poorman's 3gun and the blanket shoot are still a go so plan on that.
For blanket shoot just bring a $10-$20 prize to put down if you want to participate.
Probably will stay until it starts to get dark, then back to camp.
Make sure if you want to clean your gun do it before we leave the range.
Sunday will be breaking down and cleaning the sites, the CMP long-range range is pretty close by if anyone wants to go and hit some 600 M stuff if its open.
Remember to bring basic camping supplies and plenty of water, its a primitive site.
There will be grills there so if a few people could bring some charcoal that would be helpful.
I hope everyone has a good time, see you Friday lads.
