Because 7.5mm swiss is a snowflake cartridge, I mean its not impossible to find but its not exactly cheap either.
Thing is probably the straightest shooting ww2 milsurp rifle ive ever owned but I just never shoot it. Like, Ive put 50 rounds through it since I cleaned the cosmoline off of it, had it 8 years and almost never shoot it.

Hey, I'm looking for input on a first pistol for me, and i am planning on it being home defense and for target practice/sporting. My budget is around $400-$700, and i have larger hands so i am looking more at full frame or standard sized pistols. I have narrowed some options down to the Glock G17/G21 and to the Springfield XD series, but i am open for input on other potential pistols. I am not worried about concealed carry or single stack mags vs multistack.

I have a 20" barrel on my AR, it's pretty heavy and difficult to maneuver with.
I shoot long range so that's what I mounted, but unless you have a specific requirement, I'd stay with 16".
