WASHINGTON — One American commando was killed and three others were injured in a fierce firefight overnight with Qaeda militants in central Yemen, the military said Sunday morning. The raid was the first counterterrorism operation approved by President Trump since he took office nine days ago.
Commandos from the Navy’s SEAL Team 6 carried out the surprise dawn attack in Bayda Province in a ground raid that lasted a little less than an hour. The target was a headquarters for Al Qaeda’s branch in Yemen that counterterrorism officials had deemed valuable enough to warrant a ground operation rather than an airstrike, a senior American official said.

>One American commando was killed and three others were injured in a fierce firefight overnight with Qaeda militants in central Yemen
why do i have feeling that americans where there to defend fresh installed Al Quaeeda warlord from other tribes which dont want him to make Yemen a fucking war zone again.

I bought my first firearm four months ago (M&P 9mm, full size) but I still haven't taken it to the range or fired it yet.
I don't even have any ammo in the house.
9mm is like 9 dollars for 50 rounds.go buy a fucking box
this explains why people on here love there m&p
they don't shoot them
I've been "shopping around" for a first gun to buy since before the election and am no closer to making a decision now then I was back then. I feel so indecisive right now. Too many choices out there, I should just buy something.
>>32812483
Same except I got a M&P15 sport2 because the mad sales after Trump won. I've only ever had handguns outside the military and I have no idea where to even shoot this fucking thing. I have ammo for it but its not even zeroed. It would be totally useless if SHTF right now. Plus I've been getting high alot lately so been extra lazy.
>>32812501
you could be on to something.
I noticed that the rich seem to brag about their bunkers a lot.
Is it a good idea to make a map of where they are all at and have tools to break in and take them over when SHTF? I figure it would be a lot cheaper than paying for my own bunker.
Take pic related. They probably think that one door can protect them....kek
>>32809922
So, what's stopping someone from taking the place from you after you take it from the original owners? Checkmate, dipshit.
>>32809922
Depends on a shitload of factors.
If they paid 3 million for a bunker. It's probably fitted with the works. Blast doors no ordinary torch will cut, 12 inch concrete walls likely lead lined and with additional steel plating preventing a sapping attempt.
You could always find and destroy/plug ventilation ports, but a smart bunker architect would create multiple that span in all directions for varying distances, to make total blockage impossible. You can't destroy the ventilation equipment because it's likely located inside the bunker.
If they spent 3 million for it, you bet your ass all they need is "that one door" to stop you.

Mustard gas into the ventilation shafts, plasma torch and explosives to the door.
We bunker busters now?
Regardless of rarity and price, what is considered the best AK?
What is the best AK that is currently manufactured?
>>32809779
>currently manufactured
You've limited this thread to the point of being uninteresting
>>32809779
I mean, technically Norincos are still manufactured (just not imported, thanks Clinton)
Mak 90's are arguably the best commercial AK's ever made. You do gotta do some work to convert them, but once that's done they're amazing.
>>32809779
The one you build from a kit.
Seriously.
If you can hold shit to your own standards it tends to live up to them and you get the added bonus of knowing your rifle in and out.
It's the reason AR building is getting so big.

The smaller mass of the bullet, compared that of the gun-shooter system, allows significantly more kinetic energy to be imparted to the bullet than to the shooter. The ratio of the kinetic energies is the same as the ratio of the masses (and is independent of velocity). Since the mass of the bullet is much less than that of the shooter there is more kinetic energy transferred to the bullet than to the shooter. Once discharged from the weapon, the bullet's energy decays throughout its flight, until the remainder is dissipated by colliding with a target (e.g. deforming the bullet and target).

Good, surplus is cancer, and the fedoras who hoard it should be kicked out of the gun community as unceremoniously as possible.

Air dropping guns and ammo into Mexican border towns would do more to fight the cartels than all the efforts we and Mexico have made in the past combined.
