Kind of old news, but still. Haven't seen anything about this in the last month.
http://www.mynews13.com/content/news/cfnews13/news/article.html/content/news/articles/cfn/2017/1/5/florida_rep_smith_se.html
So what happens? I doubt it will go through, but the fact that it's even being discussed is fucking infuriating.

Pls no,
>be Floridian

Come and take it, faggots.

>The bill would apply to semiautomatic pistols, shotguns and rifles, defined in the bill by name.
>semiautomatic pistols
So all pistols except revolvers?
After years of procrastination, I finally got around to getting my concealed carry permit. Looking for an everyday carry. I'm sure /k/ has plenty of opinions. I'd like to hear them

What state?

Get a deagle and tuck it under your massive schlong /s
Why do I get so much feelings of nostalgia when seeing photos from WW2? I know that war is brutal, damaging, not good as people say. But whenever I see photos of it, it makes me think of how fast I would enlist if we had another big war.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sehnsucht
Because the war brought more Americans together for a single cause than anything in our history. You want to share in a great endeavor that will reshape the world.
>>32807357
You lack direction and meaningful relationships with others.
I finally got my SKS i paid $340 cash out the door at my local gun show, how'd I do?

In today's economy you did great.
/klit/ thread
if you could hide a handgun in a hollowed out book, what would it be? bonus comfys for fitting titles or plots.
>>32807160
When I read klit, I thought of something completely different.
A MAC M11/9 in some huge fucking dictionary or lawbook.
A Makarov in a book about Soviet Russia
A Hi-Point in a phonebook.
A Ruger Blackhawk .44 in a binder.
A set of encyclopedias flipping down to reveal a space containing an SBR'd Draco (folding stock and black plastic furnitute) with 20rd plastic mags, and maybe one 30rd bakelite if it fits somewhere.
>>32807160
A flamethrower in a comically large copy of Dante's 'Inferno'.
i know of the great 9mm/45ACP debate bullshit
i just want your answer anons, thanks!

Anyone here tried out a Rex Zero yet?
>>32806934
I put one through the ringer aside a Sig P226 in water, sand, dirt, and mud; and I have to say it blew the Sig out of the water (quite literally, lol!)
>>32806977
go home mac
>>32806934
I thought the Rex Zero was a copy of a Sig copy. From what I know, operationally, it operates the same as a CZ99, the main difference being the addition of an external safety.
Real or fake? Also, do they not have eye/ear pro in the mideast?
http://m.clarionproject.org/news/isis-graphic-video-kids-shooting-exercise-living-targets
>>32806490
You'd be retarded to think it's fake.
It's simply kids being indoctrinated into thinking that what they're doing is right.
>>32806490
Child soldiers aren't exactly a new war strategy.
>>32806490
A fucking downie can kill somebody that's tied down. Those little shits would get stomped if they went against real soldiers.
Is the Mossberg Blaze-47 /k/ approved?
No, that's a piece of shit. Get a Marlin 60 or 10/22 if you want a semi-auto .22.
>>32806299
HAHAHA WTF is that thing??
>>32806299
>Milled master race
Any word on the M1 Carbines and M1 Garands coming home from South Korea? I heard at least the Garands were a done deal since Trump's election.
The age of army surplus is here lads.
>>32806202
They're coming back when the import ban is lifted just like the others. There are millions warehoused down in South Korea and they've been trying to get rid of them ever since. Now that we can take them back there's no reason not to. We're going to be swimming in them.
>>32806208
Also the Beretta M9s. Where do these things end up for sale btw and at what price tag?
I have rifles that I shoot, but I've never fired a handgun before. Would /k/ recommend taking a handgun course before I rent one at the range?
just point it at your face and pull
>>32805787
meh, not really since you've shot rifles. Might want to look up a youtube video on whatever handgun you want to rent, just so you know where the controls are.
Also your target will look like shit and this is normal. Handguns are harder to shoot than rifles.
>>32806110
>Also your target will look like shit and this is normal.
It is?
I'd like to put together a bulletproof full-body suit for the upcoming fourth-reich zombie civil racewar. They sell bodysuits like that, but I was wondering if it could be better to just buy kevlar and make my own since I know how to sew pretty well
Anyone have experience with diy bulletproof armor? Is it feasible at all?
>>32805340
This is riot armor. Will not stop bullets
>>32805348
You try finding a decent image of full body armor that doesn't look tactistupid with only 5 minutes of interest.
>>32805340
Didn't you just try this thread on /pol/?
Just buy a plate carrier and get some plates.
Why is Polycase ammo so goddamn expensive?
Isn't it supposed to be a cheaper alternative practice ammo?
No one makes it really does have some time with the food is the one that started with my family and friends who are you going to be super busy today but I'm sure everything will go.
>>32805097
it's called steel case, numbnuts
>>32805134
Are you Cactus
Why don't other countries make good aircraft carriers?
>>32804720
they don't have the budget.
>>32804720
Healthcare and schools are more important to European coastal nations.
Several things.
1) The US has been the largest economy since in the world since Ulysses Grant. It remains the largest importer of goods, 2nd largest exporter of goods, and has a GDP of 18 trillion dollars. It spends more on military expenditures than the next several nations combined. And aircraft carriers are expensive as hell.
2. Since WWII, US Navy strategy is centered around carriers. As a result, the the have the second largest air force in the world. They need those carriers. That's also why the Soviet Union in the last, and China today, developed weapons and strategies to counteract carrier force projection.
3. The UK used to have carriers that could launch F-4s and Buccaneers. The French still have a baby carrier, which launches the Rafale and used launch Super Etendards and a Crusaders.
4. Why is the Gerald Ford in the image? It's not even deployed yet. Nimitz is awesome, and Enterprise was a pretty good test model until they realize eight submarine reactors was a bad idea.
"hey bro, cool gun, mind if i see it?"
