Was just gifted a 1941 Ishapore SMLE with all matching serial numbers by a former college professor of mine.

Alright I'm leaving Oklahoma and I have an option to choose either Missouri or Arkansas.
Now I will be honest, I don't want to bother reading through a hundred pages of gun laws on both the states so I just want a simple run down on what is the difference between the two states and which are the pros and cons of them.
What are the gun laws and gun culture like between the two states and which state is best to move to in terms of gun rights and hunting?
>>32818473
Arkansas is, iirc, the most heavily armed state in the union.
Great gun culture, great outdoors, fun as hell.
-t former Oklahoman who's family is from Arkansas.
>>32818473
Arkansas, just do it
Arkansas. Northern border at bull shoals has plenty to do and it's poor as shit so with a good job you'd live like a king.
Hey /k/, I have a bnz 43 single rune (pic not mine but semi related) and am considering selling it. I originally bought it a couple years ago for $600 (I spent awhile on k98kforum and those guys agreed it was a legit single rune/$600 was the high end of expected price) but now I'm considering selling it. I love having a rifle with history and I'm not even positive I want to sell this one, but there are no ranges near me that let me shoot 8mm mauser, the ammo is expensive anyways, and lately I've had a hankering for an m1a which I would be able to shoot at my local ranges. Do you guys think it's worth it to swap the rifles and either way what do you think a reasonable price is for a good condition single rune k98k? A few months ago I almost sold it to Cabelas with an asking price of $650 and the guy almost eagerly said that was a reasonable price which made me wonder if he knew something I didn't.
Is the rifle matching? Is it a Russian-capture refurb like in the pic? Depending on how many parts match it could be worth $700-1500+.
>>32818277
Like >>32818316 said; is it an RC? Is it all parts matching? What's the condition of its blueing and stock? Does it still have its front sight hood?
>>32818277
do more research on forums with better knowledge base on the specific subject, or post in the milsurp thread if you absolutely must have /k/s best opinion. also what the hell is up with your range that they will let you shoot 7.62 NATO and not 7.9 mauser that makes no fucking sense whatsoever
Why don't you carry DA/SA?

>striker fired is internal therefore less malfunctions/potential issues

The first gun I ever shot was the Beretta 92FS. I was 4 years old. Family still has that fucker and I want it bad.
>>32818255
>muh consistent trigger pull
a buzzword if I ever heard one. Try practicing DA/SA and you'll notice that it's not an issue once you learn it.

Hey /k/ ive got an old CZ any idea how much it may be worth? Ive got pics and papers
>>32817961
I paid 300 for this one. Nazi marked.
Its worth about $100 if you want to sell it at a gunshop, probably less. It's valuable for collectors, who might give you $250 or so for one.
They're great guns, but nearly worthless for anyone other than people who want to own one.
>post one hole, sub inch groups at 7 yards
>/k/ says it's too easy
>get told 8"-12" groups at 25 yards are the "gold standard" and "way more interesting"
>still haven't been able to shoot a group as shitty as 8" at 25, but will 3" do?
Shooting thread - I know it's winter but a few of you must have access to an indoor range

I know Yankee Marshal is a faggot, both literally and figuratively, but this is going too far even for him.

TL;DW - You need to donate to a "gun channel's" (his) patreon because Jewtube doesn't pay enough monies. Otherwise guns will disappear from social media and we'll be living in Australia.
he is right thouhg, directly supporting the people putting out the message and content you like is by far the best and most direct way to bolter public opinion
>>32817870
Either people support content creators or companies do. It's all done for a bottom line. He just framed it poorly. I still won't throw cash at him though
>>32817870
why cant this faggot get aids and dies. god put aid here to wipe out the faggots and iv drug users.
So /k/ I was recently robbed by someone, and one quick confrontation later am now in possession of said revolver (unloaded sadly).
Its a 9 shot, double action Rexio 226 .22 caliber revolver.
I am having difficulty figuring anything out about this revolver, so I was wondering if anyone here could help explain what the hell I got here and if it's any good.
>>32817728
Just googled "RExio 226" and a wealth of information appeared on my screen. Don't know what you did, but you might want to try that.
>>32817728
Wait what?
Why did you buy the revolver he used without knowing shit about it?

Had a theoretical question regarding conceal carry.
So say you went out and got your conceal carry permit and went through the motions to be allowed to have a gun on you (or just be here in Missouri where you don't even need a permit now to CC). Now that you can legally carry a concealed fire arm around, would it be legal to carry around a Class III firearm - specifically a sawed-off - given its obtained completely legally, tax stamp and all, and concealed on your person in a trench coat or something? The idea of CC'ing unconventional weapons for the role intrigues me so I figured I'd ask.
>>32817634
Pretty sure my state limits CC to 'pistols' so a SBS would not be a pistol. And it has to be under 12 inches so again, that prolly wouldnt work. Not sure about Missouri, but you might want to look into CC max length.
>>32817634
You mean Hypothetical? And no, don't cc a class 3. How do you think that'll look to a jury?
>>32817735
>always this faggot
Let me guess, you only carry ball ammunition because you think the jury will think using hollow points makes your defensive shooting premeditated right?
Self defense is fuckin' self defense.
Let's talk about 22lr firearms, /k/
Suspend disbelief for a moment. Say you were going into SHTF and knew you would have to be doing a whole lot of shooting. Also say you had an unlimited supply of 22lr, and no other ammo of any kind.
What guns would you be best suited with? I realize 10/22s are pretty much the peanut butter and jelly of this entire category, but is there anything else out there worth using over it? How about worthwhile mods, stocks, or whatever else?
Should pistols even be considered?
>>32817352
>rimfire
>>32817352
Not really, the only .22 better than a 10/22 is a more expensive custom built 10/22
>>32817352
I love .22 but your thread is fay.Why not just make a rimfire genral instead?
How /k/ is MacGyver? He doesn't really shoot people that much, but he operates pretty hard.
