Hello /k/
I'm looking into a red dot sight for my first ar build, thought I'd ask for insight.
I have looked into mostly the $200-300 range, but
I recently found this on Gunbroker and couldn't find much info through google as to whether or not it's a good deal. gunbroker.com/item/625921577

Thanks for the tip bro, just bought it :^}

Having fucked around with a few budget scopes before upping the budget, get a Vortex SPARC II. They are as low as 179 on Amazon and come with a KILLER warranty that will cover anything and everything you can do to it.
>>33171425
Just going to recommend a Vortex. I think the Spitfire AR is also right in his price range.
Thoughts on the Russian Navy?
>>33171279
Only laughs
man that looks fucking aesthetic
They have a navy? I thought it was just a few suicide boats like Iran.
Hi /k/.
I'm looking to purchase a handgun for personal safety, however in my state a mental health record is required in order to get a permit. Last September I was admitted to a crisis center for suicidal thoughts. Is this going to mess up my chance at getting a permit?
>>33171196
Yup
>>33171196
Yeah no way they'll let you have a handgun.
>>33171196
>Admitted for suicidal thoughts
I'm pretty sure you're prohibited from owning a gun at all under US law, fampai. 2a basically doesn't apply to those who have been suicidal before. You certainly won't be passing a 4473. Better hope Trump unfucks those laws tbqh. Although if you're a super high level richfag you could probably pay a lawyer to get your rights back. Then again maybe if you checked yourself in willingly I'm wrong anyway.
What if bitter whiney noguns who want to be hasguns just become makeguns?
>>33171152
you usually end up like this
>>33171181
That's a photo of some guy who hit a .50BMG with a hammer.
>>33171235
No, that's some guy who used .50 as a hammer.
Just read about it in one magazine, pretty funny really.
>>33170900
Mortar misses.
Tiger's transmission explodes shifting into first gear and the tank burns out.
Victory for mortar.
>>33170900
Source?
Seems like a funny read. Reminds me of when the M8 knocked out a King Tiger
>>33170900
Whoever has the fokkin' sword.
T-thanks Sig
>>33170770
You just got (((hk)))'d by SIG. That's gotta sting a little bit.
>>33170823
It doesn't feel great, but what choice do I have? They're always fuckin out of stock so I have to grab them when I can.
i'm sorry anon. I thought 35bucks for a commiefornia glock mag was harsh :(
Post the best and worst deals you've gotten on guns.
>Best
I found my Mark 23 at a pawn shop for $1,100. Yesterday, I bought my buddy's Sig P226 for $600.
>Worst
I bought a Remington 870 tactical for around $400 before I knew about shotguns. I also bought a used CETME for $700.
>>33170675
Best deal was when I bought my USP 45 about 6 years ago for 575 and got 6 HK mags with it, at the time the best deal going on those was 50 bucks a pop.
Worst deal was probably my Ruger Vaquero old model, I paid 550 and it was used, they're hard to get a hold of around here though.
550 pic related after selling the scope and troy rail plus 400 rounds of silver bear in a can
Paid just under retail in state for my FNX45 tactical
Best: brand new gen 2 sub2000 for $305
Worst: I paid $615 for a 92fs that I never shoot any more
Did a little urban exploring the other day in a mansion built in the late 1800's. It had a kinda spooky feel to it as its been abandoned for a number of years and had a women hang herself in the stairwell at some point. I'm thinking of returning at night and staying there until morning. I'll post some pics of what I saw and answer some questions. Also if you have any advice to make this more fun/enjoyable I'd like to hear it!
>>33170661
Good ol' B&E and trespassing eh anon? Nice.
>>33170661
Stay cheeki breeki, anon. And don't forget to collect some artifacts.
What does the author mean by "closest tree to the circle must be marked with Q..."
Does this mean marking trees near the circle, marking the trees inside the circle, or marking the trees that make up the circle?
>inb4 "haha stupid kid not real xD"
It's for fun but I want to get it right.
Bamp
Bump again I guess
>>33170527
>docile skinwalker
Bullshit
What does /k/ think of this masterpiece?
How are you suppsed to shoot if no trigger ?
>>33170444
Pretty sure that's a prop gun
>>33170418
The mechanics of this thing are boggling my fucking mind right now

>>33170311
Cuckfornia?
>80% Glock 19 ($700)
>Ares SCR ($1000)
>Savage 10 FCP HS Precision
>4 or 2 Buckshot
>>33170311
glock 19, ar-15, savage model 10, federal LE buckshot.
CA pays a premium on guns and ammo, you'll have a bunch of paperwork to go through, along with checks, ID, fees, tests, and a waiting period. come june 1st, you can't buy ammo online anymore either, so stock up if you can..
>>33170311
Save that $4k for your move to a better state.
Unless you vote democrat, in which case you should never leave california.

An asian nerd with an affinity for CoD and NCIS gets arrested for 3D printing imitation guns...
The police commissioner says the most retarded thing in the video though:
"A persons who possesses this type of firearm(s) possesses them for one reason, and one reason only, uh and that is to commit criminal offenses and to commit badness"
Conclusion: If it's 3D printed and a gun IT IS EVIL
I was planning to make my own imitation guns for personal use, but this has put a wrench in the works for sure. I was even thinking about it around the same time this happened. The law is starting to become incredibly abrasive and I'm getting sick of this shit... Can't build what is in essence, an adult toy gun, with a 3D printer because of laws targeting 3D printing specifically. baka
Welcome to Australia.

You may need to replace the url with "s m h" due to filters though... (Sydney Morning Herald"
>>33170296
That police statement sums up our entire government system honestly
They don't know what the fuck they're doing and they're not even in it for good reasons, they just take control wherever and of whatever they can
Seriously considering picking up one of pic related. Can any one tell me any real negatives? I love the gun but I don't want to have buyers remorse. I have wet dream's about the 5.7, but living in CuckadaI'm only going to have 10 round mags and I feel like high capacity is one of FNs main selling points. Is it viable for self defense or is the 5.7mm too high penetrating? I don't want to shoot my neighbors.
>>33170192
Also, in before .45 stronk
>>33170198
Was about to say this. OP if you're limited to 10 round get a 10mm or .45 for stopping' powah. Actually, fuck 45, get a 10mm.
>>33170207
I'm kind of banking on Mad Max getting into power in a couple of years and losing the mag restrictions. Plus, I'm so over the stopping power meme. I find it very hard to believe that any one will take a 5.7mm projectile into the sternum and not get the fuck out of my house.
Can we all agree that M81/ACU1/DCU is the sexiest camo combination?
>>33170241
What is then, mister smarty pants?
>>33170498
Anything that doesn't include fucking ACU
I saw these Russian Helmets on my local fifth column military equipment store. The site refers to "Russian Protection Class 1". For what calibers is Russian protection class 1 rated?

>>33170081
The two look like you could combine them into a CVC helmet. If it's the same as the US CVC helmet, it'll be the same protection as a regular kevlar, which isn't spectacular if I remember right. But it should be fine for frag, falling debris, bumps, etc.
Also remember, kevlar has a shelf life.
>>33170120
Helmet 1 is made from a titanium alloy and helmet 2 is made from aramid. With option shelf life should not be a problem. I don't know about aramid.
