Is there any particular reason why the petition for the repeal of the Hughes amendment got closed while the other petitions that close on the 19th are still up? I don't care much, but just curious.
>>33051416
>we were only 3,000 signatures away
[autistic screeching intensifies]
Far exceeded maybe? Like anything beyond that is considered rape of the poor little petite petition.
It didn't consent to anything beyond 100,000 signatures.
I hope it's repealed soon.
>>33051437
I fucked up this is a different petition i didn't pay close enough attention. I was thinking of the repeal of the other one.
So /k/ another thread about this shit.
>Previously owned a Glock 17 Gen 3
LGS has a used G17 Gen 3 and an M&P 9, only a 10 dollar difference being Glock on the higher end. They're standard finish, both come with the boxes. Not sure which one comes with more mags, but the shop has extras anyways.
So which gun would be better overall as a nightstand gun/range toy?? Most I plan on doing is putting nightsights.
>>33051386
M&P 9 trigger isn't great, but I really like mine besides that. It probably only comes with 2 mags and they're more expensive than glawk mags.
Glock over M&P every day of the week.
>>33051386
You're going to end up changing at least the trigger in wither gun since they're both shit
So I'd say go with the Glock because cheaper mags
I own an M&P
>fell for the tech sights meme
kill me
Got rid of mine awhile ago. They really are overpriced shit for what they are. Don't even have the decency to make it windage adjustable without a retarded tool.
>>33051288
>tech sights
explain?
>>33052635
>Added a peep sight to a weapon that wasn't designed for one.
OP, dd you try them on an AK or an SKS?
rumor has it /k/ has a special place for mosin nagants. had mine for over 5 years finally got around to refinishing the wood in antique black, attaching an original pu scope and grabbing a muzzle break with matching russian navy sling. so /k/ show me your nugget.
Nuggets are commie trash, literally meme guns. The one and only redeeming factor is that they cost like $100

How did the rangers and delta operators mange to lose 2 blackhawks and get 19 killed? How did they lose to Somalis?

Which turret was better?
>>33050383
The Henschel turret was better than the Porsche turret by far:
>more space
>no stupid theoretical shot trap
>more ammo storage space for immediate use
What I think we should be talking about is how the Porsche design for the Tiger I could have worked: with two electric motors controlling the two tracks, there'd have been no need for a transmission that could handle the strain of such a big tank.
>>33050383
>two electric motors
not going to happen in a war economy where copper will be in short supply due to ammo production.
>>33050560
Was a neato idea at least
>mfw Calicucks have better knife laws than I do
Retarded state laws thread
>>33048065
>tfw I can't carry in a government building
What the fuck is this shit
OP pic related
>Florida
>Knives with 3.5 inch blades or below are not classified as weapons, but "common folding knives"
>UNLESS they have "too many features" including serrations, notch grip, locking mechanisms, finger grooves, etc.
>having folding knives in the "Open" position while carrying makes it a deadly weapon
>using a knife in a SD scenario without a CCL lands you in a ton of shit if you weren't carrying it for "utility purposes"
>rest of the laws are super vague or contradictory
Meanwhile in Calicuckistan
>Open carry any knife of any length given it is in a sheath
>>33048149
True, you can OC a fucking longsword here in Cuckistan
Around my area you see pretty much every biker dude OC a bigass bowie on their belts
Hey /k/ommandos, been a long time lurker but recently when at outdoor gun range whilst collecting brass I found this strange thing amongst the casings on the ground. Was just hoping you all could help me figure out what it is.
>.223 casing for scale

Another pic
>>33047894
It has a threaded end with a screw piece
This inside has another cylinder that slides in and out.
>be me
>buy 1970s model 70 today
WTF did I do the the bolt. Won't close past the rear of the bolt, won't release from action. Safety frozen. Any pin I can punch, I have no idea wtf happened. Trying to clean this and take it shooting in 3 hours.
HAAAALP pls.

Let's get a special forces thread going
Have any of you tried to join any? Also what's the US equivalent to THE SAS/SBS
>>33046131
Delta Force is, and lets not.
>>33046133
Let's not what? Just wondering if anyone on the board has gone through the process
I've seen so many videos and docs on the subject, can't believe people are that fit and motivated it's unreal
>>33046131
Do OMON count as a special force? Im in the Ingushetian OMON
Sulfurless blackpowder.
So far i've been using 10parts salpeter, 2,4parts homemade charcoal and 8% water. But in the end i just get it to sizzle.
Anyone have a better recipe?
>>33045420
Why would you want to make sulfurless blackpowder? Dont like the smell.
>>33045420
>Anyone have a better recipe?
Sulfur.
>>33046199
>>33046181
From what i've seen sulfur only appears to make the ignotion-temp go from 440C to about 300C and add alot of smoke.
Also i dont have sulfur
Just picked up my first SKS. Paid $400 for it at a local gun show. It appears to be an early Yugoslavian M59, before they added the grenade launcher.
Two questions for you /k/:
Did I get a decent deal on it?
I ran 20 rounds of PMC Bronze through it. It'll be around 48 hours after shooting before I have it cleaned. What's the best way to clean it? Run some water/Windex down the barrel/gas tube/everywhere else, then lube it up?
>>33044446
No you dumb ghetto nigger, as long as you don't run the corrosive ammo you should be fine
>>33044446
shit gun.
>>33044446
300 bucks more and you could have got a real gun like a ruger ar556 or mpsport
Brit fag here. Been looking at this page for a while now and i'm soon to get a firearms license. Just wondering what would be a good first rifle
Im looking at the LDT M14
Pic inst relevant. This is the LDT one
>>33043703
Depends, have you fired a rifle before or not? How sure are you in how to handle one? Can you handle a decent amount of kick?
>>33043703
thought you guys couldn't have semi-auto centerfire rifles
Having such a difficult time making a decision. Three things are running through my mind for my next purchase/gun goal.
>Getting my first 12 ga scattergat. Nothing too expensive. Just a mossy or Remington, then I'd spend gradually to mod it up.
>Save up for entry level AK and do the same.
>Last but not least...Get a stripped lower receiver and work my way to making a second AR.
What do you all side on? If I knew how to make a poll I would but I like actual talking better anyway. I'm in no rush for any of the three, just want to place my cash in best place.
>>33043162
scattergat but skip tactifucking it
if you want a second ar start with an upper multiple lower receivers is kinda pointless
>>33043699
I was leaning scattergat simply because I like having diverse arsenal.
But why start with upper for receiver? Shouldn't I get the "gun" first then work from there. It's cheap cost is also a plus.
>>33043944
cause you can just swap uppers
buy a lower and your just rebuying shit you already have
