I don't think these will ever really replace a meaningful amount of actual people, they'll be too unreliable and expensive.

>>33169988
Is anyone else here kinda excited for pic related? I'm hoping they come out with a pistol brace that fits the damn thing and doesn't look retarded.
>>33169917
Why would I want that?
>>33169946
Because it's a 9mm MP40 look alike that's 100% foreign made (since it's a pistol)
>>33169917
Fuck no.
Alright so here's the thing /k/. I love weapons, all weapons. From stone age clubs all the way to the highest quality precision rifle. I'm in the mar/k/et and looking for a new friend.
Thing is, I can't decide what kind of friend to bring into my flock. So here's what I'm going to do. I'm going to list my favorite types of weapons by category and I want you guys to tell me what your favorite weapon is and why you think I should buy that/those weapon(s).
I've got a budget of $600-$800USD, maybe up to $1k or more if your suggestion is extra alluring. But enough rambling, here's my list of favorite types.
>Literally Anything
That's it, those are the parameters. What is your favorite hand held weapon? Past or present. Rifle, Sword, Polearm, Whatever. Tell me why I should add it to my /k/ollection and why it will become a new favorite for me.
Other anons can looks for suggestions for their own collection as well.

I've always wanted a tranquilizer gun. From what I understand, you don't need any paperwork to buy one.
>>33169904
I like the way you think. Know of any companies that make a reliable whirly mace? Only one I know of is Rittersteel, and I hear they ain't the greatest.
>>33169926
Intriguing. How regulated is the actual tranquilizer though?
Ausfags, specifically QLD fags:
Storage of a weapon legislation (Weapons Regulation 2016, s.94 (2)) states:
"A person who possesses a weapon must... store it unloaded... with the weapon’s bolt removed or its action broken."
>bolt removed OR its action broken
It does not explicitly state one over the other, rather, simply one or the other.
My question is, if I leave my bolt in, but have the action broken backwards, does this satisfy it being stored "with the action broken"?
I don't want to leave my bolt on the floor, with 2 other bolts. I'd also like to keep it inside the gun sock I have to help prevent rust in the QLD heat/humidity.
Secondly:
Additionally, storage of a weapon inside your car whilst transporting say to/from the range.
Weapons Regulation 2016, s. 95 (2):
"The person must, when the weapon is not in the person’s physical possession, store it unloaded in—
(a) a securely closed container, with—
(i) the bolt of the weapon removed; or
(ii) a trigger lock fitted to the weapon; or
(b) a locked container."
So does this also mean I can leave the bolt in my rifle assuming the rifle bag is locked (meaning it is now a locked container under sub-section (b), or I have a trigger guard fitted (as per sub-section (a)).?
Also FYI ammo doesn't need to be stored in a safe. Just a secure container that is "spark-proof", inside a secure area such as a (lockable) cupboard, cabinet, drawers, room, or other enclosure (such as a safe) (Explosives Regulation 2003, s.85)
>>33169789
Bump for intrest.
CQ ex army about to apply for firearms licence.
>Also FYI ammo doesn't need to be stored in a safe. Just a secure container
Literally everyone ever knows this.
These are the kinds of questions you really should've asked at your safety course, because you'd be talking to people who not only know the law, but also how it's practiced across hundreds of instances.
Basically, ya goofed so hard, when da cops come ya dun sun.
>>33169823
Nah man I was just going off what my mate told me and never bothered to read legislation myself.
Also kek at the safety course, I got RPL for it, sat the exam, and left.
Sweden's center-left government will decide on Thursday to reintroduce military conscription next year, amid lingering difficulties filling the ranks on a voluntary basis and a more uncertain security situation.
The Nordic country mothballed compulsory military service in 2010, but military activity in the Baltic region has increased since, in the wake of Russia's annexation of Crimea in 2014, prompting Sweden to step up military preparedness.

"No moon niggers allowed,"
In this thread we post weapons from movies/games/books/etc. And then attempt to build the gun from exsisting firearms and mods. Ill start. This little piece wielded by every /k/ommandos fantasy. Best bet so far is an A2 upper, sure fire 660 and Aimpoint M68. If anyone would like to contribute or make suggestions it would be appreciated.

WOLF A1 upper (t91 clone) info thread. I've been hearing news about the Taiwanese piston driven uppers that wolf wants to import but I haven't heard anything lately about a confirmed date of sale. Does anyone have any news on that?

If genetically modified creatures did exist (Resident evil type shit) and we bred them for war. Would they be classified as weapons or a type of war animal such as like they did with horses and elephants and somewhat with K9s?
>>33168899
probably classified a war crime, also i'd rather that tech used to make monster girls
>>33168899
>Dubz
Propaganda and fear wise of course. They'd be the perfect weapon in that aspect. Being bombed or hit with a drone is a quick death. But being stalked by some humanoid ape thing with claws like a tiger and eyes of a viper.
Immediately that would make you think twice in locking your doors and staying awake and even general movement.
Humans fear the unknown especially once it taps into the demons and other creepy supernatural shit and if we brought those mythologies into genetic engineering. Creating some human chupa cabra or Windingo deer man. Best believe that would be considered a weapon. One hell a fucking effective weapon too.
Might be cost effective to maintain them and feed them and breed them caring and nurturing. Plus one hell of a fucking crime against humanity using humans as your template. However you could beat that if we legalized cloning. But from a combat point of view? Hell yeah I'd use them over machines.
People have a hard enough time wraping their head around genetically modified corn. Genetically engineered battle monkeys are a long way off.
Someone red pill me on the springfield m1a, is it shit? Is it worth the money?
It doesn't compete well with its contemporaries, nor is it comperable to modern .308 autoloaders.
But it's not a bad gun, just worse than the ones worth comparing it to.
>>33168898
Somewhat overpriced and not especially accurate.
>>33168898
Save up more money and get an LRB, Rockola or Bula. Springfields just dont feel as well made. But fuck do they have nice wood stocks tho
Find a flaw.
