Anyone else ordered one of these 10/22s?
In for two.
I'm waiting for a threaded barrel model sale
No, why would I want a demonstrably worse rifle?

What is that and why is it better?
I've got so many guns, new and old, I stopped caring what's best or better.
Why do German planes look so good?
Because you're a wehraboo

You don't have to be a wehraboo to accept the truth.
Best bombers.
Is this kino an accurate portrayal of UN incompetence?
If you need a badly executed movie to lecture you on just how incompetent the UN as a whole (and their security forces in particular) are, you should turn off your computer, stand up, turn around, and look for a way to shed your mortal coil immediately.
>>33162626
Dude, it's the U.N. Any type of portrayal of incompetence is accurate xD
Has there ever been a UN operation that wasnt a complete clusterfuck and/or disastrous failure?
Post your high-energy aesthetics.

Shouldn't this be a Russian gun?
Where the medics at? Lets share some stories where concealed carry would have been useful.

What do you think, /k/? Should EMT's be allowed to carry a gun? Should life savers be permitted to take one if our own are in danger?
I fucking think so.
>>33162476
I think EMTs and hospital staff should be allowed to carry. The other day we had some one pull a knife on one of our triage nurses, tried to stab her. Security is no help either. Almost a 400 bed hospital, we got like 4 guards for the whole place.
Only reason why the guy was able to be subdued, is cause there was two cops who were dropping off a drunk, were able to quickly step in.
>>33162476
>Should EMT's be allowed to carry a gun?
You got damn right, how are you not carrying already?!

Thoughts on the Ruger American Compact 9mm? Looking at one of these as a potential EDC.
>>33162236
buy a glock 19
not trying to be a brand where but you'll end up spending the same money and you'll have a hell of a lot easier of a time finding holsters/accessories for it
also safeties are fucking disgusting on striker carry guns, don't get that shit
>>33162283
Hmm I've been looking into the Glock, but I can find the American for cheaper (and it has a pro model without a safety, this is just a stock photo), and it's a bit smaller
>>33162236
get it and let us know how much it sucks OP
Has anyone ever shot or handled one of these? Remember seeing them in a magazine years ago and always wondered if they were worth a shit.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zastava_M76
I've shot one before, they're OK. I prefer my .308 Saiga though.
Pic semi-related, my setup is similar to this one.
>>33161855
I have, they're alright. DESU nothing that really sets it apart from other Yugoslavian or Soviet weapons.
>>33161855
They're pretty neat, in that they're a 8mm Mauser or 30-06 AK. You don't see that in anywhere else (the Saiga 100 notwithstanding). But that's all it really is, a big AK.

"The key to survival is allowing oneself to be shaped by the assigned environment. In doing so, a broad range of capabilities are acquired, allowing one to flip the script and use said capabilities to shape said environment for maximum longevity. I'm saying I'm in the process of said stage two. I've changed, adapted… I'm a survivor."

If you were choosing between the FNS-9C or the P225-A1, which would you pick?
I'm trying to pick between the two and while I'm leaning more toward getting the FNS-9C, I'd like to hear /k/'s input on the matter.
>implying asking for /k/'s opinion is ever a good idea
bampo
>>33161519
>I'd like to hear /k/'s input on the matter.
They are two completely different guns and you haven't explained as to what you plan on using a handgun for.
>>33161625
Crap, you're right.
I suppose that I'd like to use either one of these for my daily carry (currently using the G43), but I haven't been able to fire either of the aforementioned guns, so I don't know.
Question 1:
You live in a castle doctrine state. A young man approaches your front door. He looks Chinese. He is wearing business casual clothing. He asks "We're here for the party". You have a .44 magnum revolver.
Do you
A) Call the police
B) Answer the door and speak to him
C) Answer the door and shoot him
D) Shoot him through the door
>>33161461
D followed by C followed by A followed by B
>>33161492
>ruining your door
>>33161461
E) Shoot the black guy behind him

What would be an ideal hand gun for concealed carry? I'm looking to purchase a hand gun to keep on me or at least hidden in my vehicle since I work out in ranches near the U.S and Mexico border and the night time can get to be quite dangerous.
>>33161321
>What would be an ideal hand gun for concealed carry?
something thats comfortable, if it isn't comfortable you won't carry it
>>33161331
Anything you could recommend? I'm not to familiar with handguns. Not saying I don't know how to use a gun, I'll go dove hunting etc but never really owned a handgun. I'm not really looking to use it, just to have something in case I ever run into the situation at night.
>>33161321
It's hard to suggest some thing, when you leave out a lot.
Budget?
You okay with plastic, or you want full metal?
Single or double stack?
Big or small hands?
Do you have a caliber preference?
My carry piece is a g26 with a flush 10 round mag, back up mag is a g17 with xgrip attached. Easy to conceal, angle of the grip kinda meh, you quickly learn to work around it. Can carry a wide range of dif capacity mags. I carry it in a trex arm appendix carry holster.
is a .577 Tyrannosaur useful in a home defence situation?
>>33161289
yes, preferably in an automatic belt fed
>>33161289
so are you planning on just asking stupid questions all day or what
insert:
>if you wanted to kill your neighbors fridge two blocks... pasta
>>33161289
As long as you hit the intruder, yes.
So... What all DA/SA subcompacts are there? This is the only one I know of and it's overpriced and that 1911 safety and shit, I guess there's the old bodyguard and lc9 but not counting those. Why does it seem like most subcompact single stack 9s are striker fired? Is it better to just get a revolver at that point if you want a hammer fired gun?
>>33161170
Unaffordable on your mcdonalds paycheck and overpriced are not the same. Saged so it can die a swift death
>>33161170
P938 isn't a subcompact, isn't DA/SA either. P2000SK/P30SK, CZ 75 Rami, Sig P224, etc. are subcompact DA/SA pistols.
The HK is the best among that group.
>>33161170
Pic related is a good gun. It is pretty steep though. My dad has one that I've shot a few times. If I was going to buy a pistol that size I wouldn't hesitate to get the 938. I just always carry a full size so I have no need for it. I guess the reason why a lot of sc's are strikers is because there's just less shit to get hung up on a draw and less external controls is usually preferred.
