Post the best and worst deals you've gotten on guns.

I found my Mark 23 at a pawn shop for $1,100. Yesterday, I bought my buddy's Sig P226 for $600.
>Worst
I bought a Remington 870 tactical for around $400 before I knew about shotguns. I also bought a used CETME for $700.

Best deal was when I bought my USP 45 about 6 years ago for 575 and got 6 HK mags with it, at the time the best deal going on those was 50 bucks a pop.
Worst deal was probably my Ruger Vaquero old model, I paid 550 and it was used, they're hard to get a hold of around here though.
550 pic related after selling the scope and troy rail plus 400 rounds of silver bear in a can
Paid just under retail in state for my FNX45 tactical
Best: brand new gen 2 sub2000 for $305
Worst: I paid $615 for a 92fs that I never shoot any more

Does your AI date code mark 23 have the chrome lined barrel?
I bought a like new CZ-75 for $400, which is actually what they should cost.

I got my Desert Eagle, 75 rounds of .50AE, 100 pieces of brass, a drop leg holster, and three magazines for $800
>Worst deal
Not something i bought, but something i sold. I traded an Uberti Cattleman in .45 Colt for a Mossberg 590, then sold the 590 to buy a .357 SIG barrel for my Glock 22,a couple hundred rounds, and shocks for my truck. I regret ever getting rid of that pistol.

I'm not certain, I never thought to look. I didn't know there were chrome lined Mark 23s, but it makes sense with their 30,000 round barrel life.

I thought they were all chromelined as it was a req for the OHS? and that they just switched from traditional to poly rifling?
Funny that they're both veprs.
>best
The $1100 vepr-1v that doubled in price a week or two later.
>worst
Spent almost 1400 on my vepr12 so I could own it a year before most people. Like literally the second it hit shores.

Most of them are, AE and AF date codes don't and most of those are tan frame.
I was just wondering because AI isn't far off, and I'm looking to find out for sure which ones because I'm going to eventually buy one and want to avoid the unlined models

Only the ones made during the SOCOM contract were chrome-lined and they had the more durable black finish compared to the hostile environment one.

I bought my P1 last year for $275 off a PA coal worker having a third kid who desperately needed money, probably the best recently. Most of my guns were a deal.
I also paid $300 for six 30-round Circle 10 5.56 AK mags because I was new and thought they were they only mags that would work.

>best
$500 gently used USP45 standard with original case, papers and accessories.
>worst
$200 for a stripped AR lower in 2013. POS was out of spec, too. Polymer mags didn't fit the magwell and finish started to wear off after a few cleanings. A file fixed the former and I just used a sharpie for the latter.
