I recently bought an IWI X95 and I am experiencing issues with the accuracy. Right now I have it all on factory settings, and I get about 4.5-5 inch groupings. What things should I change to help with accuracy? Pic unrelated.
the shooter and/or the ammo
>>33060812
What ammo would be best?
Find out the barrel twist rate then find out what weight projectile/which ammo is best out of that length/twist rate.

Crowd control and crowd destruction techniques
What are effective ways a /k/ommando can get a crowd to fuck off?
Has anyone on /k/ successfully dealt with a mob besides SaigaMarine?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1qPiZWDYJWw
Saiga and friends would have been successful if they didn't film themselves. Typical social media narcissists. Surprising they tripfags own narcissism would fuck themselves.
If you want to fuck up a crowd that's fucking up your property, dress up like them, blend in, have a suppressed weapon on hand and start dropping the ones on the outer circles.
Or top sniping if you have good equipment and a decent vantage point.
OR (even better) don't live in liberal shitholes and you'll never have to deal with the bullshit that was in that Youtube video.
>What are effective ways a /k/ommando can get a crowd to fuck off?
showing off a loaded firearm. then shoot it
i'm not a cop nor a fucktard so i really try to avoid scenarios where i can meet an angry mob. if it happens tho i don't give a fuck about casualties. walk on me and i magdump
>>33060674
Tacticaly deployed Mg42 nests used to cut off any escape path but leaving the rioters initialy just enough space. Give an ultimatum to peacefully surrender within a reasonable time according to size of crowd.
Have one single checkpoint where people may leave through a mobile fence and turncross gate, where they get arrested. If there is opposition left mow them down and have a team "take care" of the wounded. There is no such thing as bystander in this situation.
Hey!
Could someone explain to me what are the differences between Dyneema and Kevlar and how do dyneema plates differ from ceramic plates.
I understand that dyneema is about 10% (and up to 25%) lighter than kevlar, but are there any downsides?
Why do most armies still use kevlar and ceramics instead of dyneema if it's this magic substance people claim it to be?
>>33060446
Deforms in heat, doesn't work well with high moisture/heat environments. This causes degradation issues when applied to body armor.
>>33060542
So basically dyneema plates and protection wears out faster than kevlar and ceramics?
>>33060672
Yeah pretty much that.

Anyone able to measure the actual weight of some different M1A models for me?
I'm interested in the standard, the socom 16, and the squad scout models. My friend (and now me because of my friend introducing me to the M1A) is considering getting an M1A, and I'm basically looking for whichever one is the lightest. I had assumed the socom would be lighter than the other two because it has a shorter barrel but the website says it's the same weight. If that's the case I'd probably go with the standard model because of the barrel length.
Thoughts? Anyone know the true weights?
>>33059180
Its not so much the weight, but the balance. Socom 16 is very front heavy, as are the military mods. Scout length 18in is evenly balanced at the center. And full length are balanced with the point just in front of the mag well.
Ill post the weight of my scout in a minute.
>>33059302
Cont
Its 8.9lbs unloaded
18in scout length in a synthetic stock.
>>33059351
I assume no optic? That's pretty close to what the Springfield website says so I'd be surprised if the socom weighed the same or more desu. I can't imagine why their site claims the socom is the same weight as the scout or standard. Thanks for weighing the rifle my dude.
No /brg/

Sup /k/ommandos, just got my first firearm and will be hitting the range this weekend. Haven't decided between indoor or outdoor but the indoor is the closest, nicest, offers commodities, etc.. Though I believe the restaurant and bar are for VIP members.
I've shot before, not often, maybe yearly but it's always been on private property with the family's rifles and shotguns but I know basic safety and the 101's (or so I thought). After reading some of the "what is the most embarrassing thing to happen to you on the range" threads, saying I'm mortified would be putting it lightly. There's shit I was reading that even an "experienced" gun user might fuck up or by simply not knowing the customs of the range.
Any tips or basic 101's I should know for shooting my own gun for the first time on my own? There's a mandatory orientation, as there should be but I was hoping some of you might be able to drop some knowledge.

Come on, /k/. Anybody?

Every range is different. I've been to ones where a ranges terms is watching like a hawk the entire time, ones where the range stays hot and you walk in a trench to your target with bullets whizzing over your head and ones where it's unsupervised and fuckers just walk down range while you're still shooting. Indoor are the easiest because you usually sit in a booth and the target comes to you and all you have to worry about is making sure the bullets stay down range. The best option is to go with someone who is familiar with your ranges rules, and the type of people who go to that range. You'll get comfortable with that range then each new one is just a few adjustments to your normal shooting routine

What does /k/ think of the Green Berets?
What does OP think of these doubles?

Our company was colocated with some in iraq.
We taught them some CQB stuff and how to use ATGMs, and they taught us some counter insurgency stuff.
They are pretty chill guys. As far as what they do we were of course not privvy to the details and didnt do anything except some cross training in between ops. They did their thing and we did ours.
Lets see what you got /k/
Bonus points for some rare German combat pictures, I have a lot of USMC and US Army stuff but almost nothing on the Wehrmact or SS.

What's the best base gun to start with for a 9x25 dillon build?
10mm. Duh.
>>33056754
Obviously, but WHICH 10mm?
>>33056767
I would build one out of a witness elite match or better like hunter or stock I/II. I've thought about getting a barrel for mine. I guess you could use a good 1911 build kit or go glock and hope for the best.
We were all at our buddies getting some weed i got my dab we kicked it for a while then something went down between friend 1 and dealer, friend 1 robbed dealer because he apparently beat up friend 1s little brother or something like that. So we all leave and are smokeing a bunch friend 2 goes hey" i grabbed all his keif jars" friend 3 had grabbed a carton of smokes and some weed in a jar friend 1 got his money and main stash jar. Its all cool we laugh talk about how crazy it is im still barely coherent
When we get back this kid went right to the bathroom
We all sparked up another bowl and started playing some game i think need for speed, and out c9mes this kid from the bathroom holding two uzis to the air like "look i stole his fucking guns"
So all of us are what the fuck im in a half coma kinda thinking im dreaming and friend 1 just half yells at him to get the fuck out and get rid of them and he gets all sad and pissy but puts them back in this guncase and he left
Thanks
