Who did they expect to be able to afford it? And why is libre hardware so ludicrously expensive anyway?
Kek, the anon on here a few weeks ago planning his Talos build will be crushed.
I fucking called that shit though, tried to explain to him it would likely never happen and even if it did it was a colossal waste of money.

Anyone has a chart of the amount of radiation smartphones release?
I want to buy the Xiaomi mi5s but i've heard chinese phones release stupid amounts of radiation, this puts me off from buying it (beside the stupid ass black lines on the Xiaomi screens)
>inb4 just buy it black
no i want it white
Seriously?
No phone releases more radiation than a blackberry.
>>58420989
You get 0 ionizing radiation, which is the shoot that actually does something to you. You literally get exposed to a larger dose by eating one banana a year

Simplest way to block sites on Mint?
I'm talking porn sites (hentai mangas too) and things like reddit/4chan. It has to be done on computer, not on router.
So a DELL technician poped over by my house today to change a defective screen on my laptop.
After he was done, he said:
>oh, and, Anon, since youre using a windows 10, put a little piece of tape on that webcam. Its taking a shot of you like every 10 seconds or so.
How legit this bullshit can be?

Old Thread
This this is for questions that don't need their own thread.
Spend at least a few minutes on Google before posting a question to help trim the fat.
I'm wondering why it is that 5GHZ WiFi is faster (or has more throughput?) than 2.4GHz WiFi. I suppose it has higher "bandwidth", but I'm not exactly sure why that translates to higher bitrates.
Also, I've read that 5GHz WiFi is more susceptible to interference from walls and such. Why do 5GHz waves have a more difficult time traveling through solid objects than 2.4GHz waves?

I want to replace the IPS one, what do you guys recommend in €200-300. Also does Freesync worth it? Got an R9 390.
Can NEETs get girlfriends? Are there college age girls who just want to hang out at a NEETs parents house with the NEET bf?

Why don't we have this yet?
I blame faggy smartphones, apps and fossil feuls for holding back technological progress.
>>58418369
Why don't we have moon bases and shit you mean? Principally because there's no good practical reason to. The main reason we bothered with sending humans to space was the massive dick-waving contest that was the cold war. Once we put some dudes on the moon and thereby demonstrated the superior size of our schlongs, there was no point in doing it again. You can get science done cheaper and more easily if you don't have to bring around the fragile meatbags and their big, heavy life support systems.

Homescreen thread
Apparently my screenshot is so big that I have to reencode it as JPG.

Actually not a bad start. My only criticism is that I'd find an icon pack that either matched your wallpapers color scheme better or change the color of the icons themselves

What icon pack is that?

Icons: Crispy

They won't.
They are just thaught who to """program'''''' them with meme bullshit like rust and node.js without ever having to know how a microprocessor works.
Electric Razors are a fucking meme.
I've tried out several electric razors that were $70+ and they worked even shittier than the $12 one I've had for years. They can't even shave as well as the cheapest disposable blade.
>he didn't fall for the safety razor meme

They used to be good 20 years ago now they are nothing but garbage and a waste of money.

No. It's just bullshit propagated by libtard media as a way to hide their crimes (what's important is the contents of the emails, not who hacked them). It's also a way to delegitimize trump.

By giving Pentiums hyperthreading they are effectively moving their entire lineup one slot down.
