why don't they make these kind of movements anymore?

The boring answer is 'because quartz'. I'd love a modern tuning fork movement though.
>>
Is there a site that has detailed information / reviews about specifc movements?

Sorry about the dumbasses. It's actually really simple, assuming you're rooted. Download an app called Root Browser. Go to /system/ and delete the folder called lib. This resets the recently deleted files back to their old locations. It's this weird thing Linux does.

Northface Recon.
I drive a motorbike so it needs to be a backpack. It has multiple felt line pouches including one large one for a laptop, and other gadgets. Isn't too large for daily use due to cinching straps (Also I'm 6'1 ~215lb) but can expand up to ~35 litres for anything a bit more strenuous. Best bag I've ever owned.

I'm using the Bag of Holding from ThinkGeek. It's starting to fray from the corners of my computer, and I'd kind of prefer a bag that's less...nerd culture-y, but none of the other messenger bags I've found are as functional. It's got two separate main compartments so I can keep my laptop separate from my other EDC stuff, and a tablet sleeve in the laptop compartment that I've yet to see anywhere else.

I have an idea on why these operating systems exist, but they are free. How would I get my hands on one of the operating systems and what would be the consequences of using it as a desktop. Would it even be able to run games or applications in general? Otherwise it looks like a pretty comfortable os that I am not sure I should put effort into getting.

WES7 best OS

Industry 8.1 is simply a copy of 8.1 Pro/Enterprise with additional features such as UWF and Keyboard Filter. All programs and games should work.
WES7(when configured properly during IBW)/POSReady 7 would run games and applications just fine.
POSReady 2009 have quite high levels of application compatibility as well, albeit having some less-known programs to not work due to a relatively minor lack of .dlls and system files. As for WEPOS1.1, even basic antivirus software cannot load properly.

Is anyone here familiar enough with MPC and madVR to tell me why it's dropping frames only after Windows 10's Anniversary Update? I reinstalled my graphics driver, uninstalled with DDU, then installed a december 2015 one. That helped some, but not entirely.

I've got a GTX 970 and even stock MPC is dropping a couple frames. I'm this close to installing Windows LTSB.

Hi /g/, this is a different thread to most of those usually posted

I'm philosophically interested in the concept of random. I've done a fair bit of research so far but I've mostly found information on pseudo random number generators

So can someone explain to me how most programs create properly random numbers

Also is it theoretically possible to create a program that is "pure random" ie something that is completely independent from a logical process

pic sorta related

I've got an i7 870 running at 4.2ghz and I've been thinking of upgrading, you it doesn't really seem worth it buying a new mobo+cpu+ram just for video games and web browsing.

Would upgrading the ram from 4x 2GB DDR3 1333MHz to 2x 8GB DDR3 2133MHz be a noticeable upgrade?

I understand that. I'd be happy with a moderate performance increase. You think 10-15% seems a reasonably expectation? I've noticed some games like fallout 4 are heavily affected by ram speeds.

Is there any reason it would be impossible to swap a windows install from an old AMD build to an intel build?

Ive read about using microsoft's sysprep tool to do this and I want to know if anyone has experience with it. I've read that it is easier to do between similar hardware, but that's not the case for me.

Why wouldn't it work? I use w10 and have swapped the HDD around into various PCs now. Only issue is that it gives me an activation error watermark but everything still works.
