My Fidelio X2s arrived today and my first impressions are great, I also have He-400is coming. Initially this was all I wanted in headphones as I have IEMs for portable use. However I think I may want to have a closed/portable headphone for portable use and not sure if 2 pairs of headphones for desktop use is justifiable as a University student. I've decided that I should either return my x2s and buy either the Modhouse argon or Meze 99, or keep the x2s and purchase a pair of Vmoda m100s for portable use as they are relatively not very expensive. Please help me as I really do not know what option to pursue.

The Senn HD598's seem really appealing, but the one thing that worries me is all the comments that they're a little light on the bass. Can anyone here who has experience with both the Monoprices and the Senns comment on just how much less bass the 598s have compared to the 8323s?

Are there any resources for better understanding packet capture from the network administrator perspective?
Most resources are for hackers, not tech enthusiasts trying to troubleshoot networking problems.
Trying to use wireshark is like trying to drink from a fire hose.
Can anyone help?

Packet capture is pretty fucking low level and there are loads of types of traffic. To work out whether there are problems or not, you'll need to understand the protocol in question and to spend some time becoming familiar with it, and maybe read the RFC for it if need be.
I've been using it for years so have no guide, but top tip: For most TCP stuff you want to filter on (source or dest) ip, then right click and "follow TCP stream" until you get the one you want.

The obvious answer is that the gubbament is recording all our plaintext porn traffic to use against us in the future.
Porn is like... the thing that needs privacy the most, and it's one of the least private things on the internet. I wish the HTTPS advocates (EFF, Google, etc) would make this a top priority.
