How do i get a 32 bit steam linux package?

The whole point of linux is to rice your desktop to get maximum internet points in desktop threads. Why are you trying to use linux for more than that? This is like using a rubber mallet to hammer down nails.

The ancient chip is probably the bigger bottleneck to gaming.

Linux gaming is descent, not good but descent.

I need some realistic advice and help.

So my now ex-girlfriend found my hard drive that was full of ex girlfriends, and intimate pictures, notes, and files. She went bat shit and threw my hard drive into a shallow lake in town.

It is a fresh water lake. A bit muddy. What are the chances that I could recover the hard drive from the lake and it still be possible to retrieve the files off of it?

The lake is now frozen, so I won't be able to dive for it until May.

Is there still hope?

Pic not related.

Uh. It's been in the lake for awhile? Then you're fucked.

If it was only tehre for a short bit, it would probably be fine if you just left it somewhere warm with airflow for awhile. IIRC the only opening in a hard drive is an extremely fine membrane, but I don't know if that's even a thing anymore. Modern drives are probably completely sealed.
>>
>>58431540
I'm really nervous. I would definitely dive and recover it, but the fact it's in water, and will be for sometime makes me wonder if it's even possible.
>>
>>58431514
Just restore them from your latest backup.

I recently got a good deal on a EVGA GTX 760 for about $60 from a friend. Upon benching it, I discovered it's microstuttering and is hitting 85C.
I figured I should try replacing the thermals on the cooler. Which thermal pads would you recommend to me?

>>
>>58431329
? Thermal pads are just for the VRAM, if your card even has them.. They don't wear out over time that much, and even if they did, it wouldn't cause microstuttering, your card would probably just die.
Just replace the thermal paste on the GPU die with any non-conductive thermal paste.

does anybody know how I can open the .001 on its own?

just copy and rename the copy .002

Because theyre all part of the archive. You need very part to do it

you can sometimes get a partial file or some complete files if there are multiple. You need to use the cli to do it though, and I forget if it needs any special flags.

Alright g/fags. I need some nerd help. For my first PC build I was thinking of the following.
ASUS ROG STRIX Z270E GAMING MB
Intel Core i7-7700K 4.2 GHz
Samsung 850 EVO 250GB SSD
Seagate 4TB HDD
16GB min RAM, undetermined brand
Unsure of the graphics card, would like to be able to run VR(Don't know why, porn maybe)
Was thinking MSI GeForce GTX1080?
Any advice? Any problems? What kind of cooling and power supply?

Help anonfags!

I've finally hit the breaking point with my iphone 4. I can't do anything with it anymore. It's slow, won't download any apps and both the speaker and charger are broken.

I want to get a new phone but i'm a poorfag. So, my question is, what is the best prepaid budget phone i can get rn. Preferably something below $200, but willing to hit $300.

My requirements:
> runs smoothly and isn't abysmally slow.
> capable of downloading the latest apps (there's only two apps i need, apple music and gps).
> capable of running the gps smoothly.
> will last atleast 2 years before it becomes obsolete.

Thanks anons.

Save up, get an iPhone SE. Android will suck when you're coming from something as polished at iOS
>>
>>58430961
This. Alternatively get 5s and replace the battery (or get refurbished with a new one) if saving up is absolutely not an option.

It used to be full of child pornography. Truly the wild west days of the internet. I was around 11-13 so it seemed normal for me to watch 13yos and I didn't even know what lolita meant back then.

How accurate is this pasta?

Vega is the biggest fundamental architecture change since they switched from Terascale to GCN 1.0
The new NCU means a massive boost to efficiency in the shader core and a much easier ability to fully saturate the GPU with work.
The biggest problem with Fiji(furyX) is that its 4096 shaders didn’t mean very much because of large bubbles in the pipeline and large amounts of shaders idling and doing no work each cycle.
Even with a low Level API like Vulcan which is best case scenario the FuryX is still not running with all cylinders firing because Vulkan only solved the Driver overhead problem. There is still bubbles in the workload because of the fundamental design of the GCN architecture itself.

AMD is switching from standard 4x16-bit blocks of a normal GCN CU(compute unit) to This new design of a variable 8+4+2+2 block and either four of these or a mix of these and standard 16-bit blocks in this new NCU(next compute unit)

They could not do this in the past because they did not have the technology to build a Hardware Scheduler and Memory Scheduler Complexed enough to run this kind of architecture.

We have test samples of Vega with NCU's disabled and with very low clock speeds and its beating a 1900Mhz overclocked GTX 1080 in DOOM. Now there is a gain from using Vulcan over DX11 and OpenGL for AMD but that’s on the Driver Overhead side not on the fundamental shader operations side. IT just means the CPU is feeding draw calls to the GPU at peak efficiency.

A lot of people dismiss the test because it’s Vulcan but they don’t know what they are looking at. The Vega sample is running FIJI 1.2 drivers which means the instructions are running through the Vega NCU's like they are standard fixed 16-bit blocks like you have on a FuryX card.

So you need to look at it from this perspective.

This New architecture is more advanced than Maxwel/Pascal. You are going to see unreal performance from Vega when it’s finally released. Poor Volta

Its only accurate if you cant get enough buzz words and wishful thinking.
>>
>>58430766
Not really. AMD always disappoints on product launches.

>bulldozer will be good is 8 core
>polaris is good, crossfire will be better than 1080 but cheaper
>fury x will beat a 980 ti in several cherrypicked games using settings specified by AMD (not ultra)
>7970 is better than a gtx 680

On and on and on
>>
>>58430836
True. I mean it's nice their cards age well a year later but by then nvidia releases a new card that shits on them.
