I want a ADSL2+ modem for my home net.

Does one exist that isn't bloated with insecure services that I have no use for or allows disabling of them?

It will be used to compliment a router running OpenWRT.

If a seller offers to extend my buyer protection as a solution to a dispute (item still missing after 60 days) and I accept, will I be able to raise a new dispute if the item still doesn't arrive? Or are you limited to 1 dispute per item?

You're probably missing a boot flag or the image you made is corrupted and your HP can't recognize it.

Are you using LiLi USB to create that image?

/g/ help me out

Never had this problem before.

I have 2 jpg files in one folder, pic1 is a green pillow, pic2 is a red pillow. pic1 has the filename 1234, pic2 has the filename 2345. Then I copy pic1 in the same folder to get pic3. So far so good

But when I rename pic3 to 5678 it somehow chages color from green to red. This seems to happen randomly and sometimes the icon of the file has not the same color as when I open the pic.

Any ideas why this is happening?

going through https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dP1xVpMPn8M I must say that is very neat. The whole acme file system thing, window control files, etc.

Interfacing with stuff outside of emacs isnt difficult but not at all THAT easy.

This is literally an opinion piece based on changes Apple has made with their latest macbook. Holy fuck this author is retarded.

Apple will never do away with macbooks, they are required to develop software for iOS. They are dominant amongst developers, creatives, and people who think they fit in either category. They dominate the computer illiterate market as well.

They are however not oblivious to the fact that most people don't need much more than a web browsing machine. They are probably going to dial down production of the macbook slowly until it is exclusively a developer device.

Puppet, chef, maybe octopus? Write shell scripts and conf files and deploy with those. You can use PowerShell DSCs if working in Windows or have the open source PowerShell on your *nix boxes

Hearing the difference now isn’t the reason to encode to FLAC. FLAC uses lossless compression, while MP3 is ‘lossy’. What this means is that for each year the MP3 sits on your hard drive, it will lose roughly 12kbps, assuming you have SATA – it’s about 15kbps on IDE, but only 7kbps on SCSI, due to rotational velocidensity. You don’t want to know how much worse it is on CD-ROM or other optical media.
I started collecting MP3s in about 2001, and if I try to play any of the tracks I downloaded back then, even the stuff I grabbed at 320kbps, they just sound like crap. The bass is terrible, the midrange…well don’t get me started. Some of those albums have degraded down to 32 or even 16kbps. FLAC rips from the same period still sound great, even if they weren’t stored correctly, in a cool, dry place. Seriously, stick to FLAC, you may not be able to hear the difference now, but in a year or two, you’ll be glad you did.
