also, a shoulder separation has been kicking my ass lately, that messed my routine up pretty badly and I lost about 20lbs on all of my maxes... very discouraging

Hey /fit/, beginner here. How do you manage fitting meals to your macros and daily calorie intake? I've got my calories and protein targets sorted, but as a hopeless cook, I don't know where to start in terms of meals and good combinations that will hit my targets? Any advice?

i dont give a flying fuck about specific numbers and just make sure to cook fresh with ground ingredients from the /fit diet/ picture and roughly count the protein. you dont have to bother counting calories or macros or whatever the fuck you talk about there as long as you feel good and cook with the /fit diet/ picture.
bulk=eat so you want to vomit
cut=feel like you could eat more, but will not. not neccessarily starving.

eat almonds as a snack and put berries and other fruits in your oatmeal in the morning. that will do the trick

also drink so much water you have to go pee every 30 minutes

Experiment. Turkey/chicken with spinach, onions, garlic, soy sauce and whole wheat pasta works wonders.
any meat with a tomato sauce you made yourself (cut tomatoes, add spices, water, olive oil, garlic, blend with a mixer). tomato sauce will taste better after a few days. dont eat it on the first day. give it some rest.

cook broccoli and other green stuf in a pan with oliveoil and or soy sauce and season with salt and pepper, add leak and or onions if you like.

you can mix minced meat with eggs and spinach too.

I used to be fat. 6'4", 300lbs. Now I'm thin and /fit/ (in clothes) at 180lbs. I've been meeting girls regularly, whether it's through phone numbers, the bar, or at work/through friends. They all bore me.

At first getting a girls number was exciting. I thought I was making progress. I was never autistic or socially shy, but now that I'm not fat it's easier than ever. But holy hell, out of all 6 numbers that I've gotten over the past few weeks, every girl is boring as sin. Even the non-bar ones that I've met. I'm demotivated. I didn't get fit for girls in the first place, but now that I know I'll be the only one to love myself enough efficiently, what point is there?

I'm not going anywhere with this. Maybe I can just start a feels thread. Either way, I feel depressed and lonesome over the fact that most people I've begun to meet since getting fit are boring and shallow.

Two twins brothers start working out. They are exactly the same, same height, same weight, they start from the exact same point.

Brother 1 and brother 2 start doing the same exact routine, BUT
1) Brother 1 is very meticulous and he does the exercise with perfect form, powerful fast contraption - slow controlled inverse movement, he microloads, he reset 20% the weight when stalling etc.
2) Brother 2 wants to not look like a bitch ass faggot at the gym dealing with small weights so he uses like 10-20% more than his brother weight but of course he struggle a lot more. He use bigger intervals, fail reps, he cheats when he get fatigued during curls and whatnot swinging all the way and getting momentum.

They do this shit for one year.

Who will get more gains in the end?

I myself was thinking about progressing to crazy exercises like pressing the plate overhead for reps with only one hand. Don't know how dangerous that type of shit is.

It's the gains goblin of careers. Sitting on my ass in a chair all day is fucking my posture. Am looking for advice on how to effectively train the Vastus Medialis Oblique as part of Patellofemural Pain Syndrome treatment.

I've always had pretty bad knees but for the past two years or so I've had significant discomfort (and sometimes pain) as a result of patellar maltracking and audible clicking and grinding of the kneecap over the femur.

I've been working on this for about 6 months now but things have improved only marginally. So who here has personal experience with PFPS and/or Vastus Medialis training and can guide me towards exercises that actually work?

Any advice is greatly appreciated!!

I know people who swear by using just the top 30 degrees or so of the leg extension machine for high reps as a means of helping knee tracking issues.

But I have no idea if it'll work or even be a good idea in your case.
