I don't feel healthy and I want to by drinking these smoothies everyday and working out. Any recommendations for smoothies that contain all nutrients I should get daily?

just eat better bro
>>
You'll quit after a week because drinking nothing but smoothies will never satisfy you and you'll be miserable. Don't be a retard, just shave 200-400 calories off your TDEE and eat normally or you'll just quit and gain nothing. Baby steps, walk before you try running.

i think its better to just eat your greens and fruit

Me on the right with mah goal body.

Obviously I need to lose ~4% bf, but besides that...

I've been using keto to cut to great success.

To address the typical comments that people say about keto:

Yes, I know calories in vs calories out is the key factor in weight loss
I'm still tracking calories and staying in a deficit
Yes, I know low carb diets result in losing water weight
I can tell the difference between water weight and fat. I've lost fat, not just water.

The main reason I like it is satiety. I can eat a big ass plate of pasta or rice and feel hungry again in 2 hours. But, if I eat a steak with some greens I feel satisfied for a solid 6 or 7 hours. I've been dropping about 1.5 lbs a week (800 calorie deficit) for multiple months while much never feeling overly hungry.

However, I'm not sure about it's long term health effects. Can anyone link me some studies or something?

I started getting heart palpitations and feeling really gross/heavy/weird after eating high fat meals after a few months. My lifts stagnated, didn't really change much. And I was sweating a lot.

What foods are u eating? whats your meal plan like

Here's what I ate today, it's pretty typical of what I usually eat:

Breakfast: scrambled eggs, spinach, frozen berries

Lunch: salad with vinaigrette (oil+vinegar), chicken thighs, hard boiled egg

Dinner: Steak, collard greens

I pretty never eat snacks since I've started keto.

Serious questions, why were Bruce Lee's lower lats so wide? I know some of it is an optical illusion because of the high pants but even so it seems like I see a lot of guys with big thick lats, but they don't (visibly) extend nearly as far down as Bruce's did. Genetics? His routine? Also, tips for wide lower lats if you have them.

QTTDTOT - Questions that don't deserve their own thread (thread)

What's the difference between a pull up and a chin up? Is it just the grip difference? (chin-up overhand, pull up underhand)?

then why are neutral grip pull ups only pull ups? is there more to this movement than just supination?

I'm new to lifting, joined an Olympic weightlifting gym - want to learn the sport

Its been like a month and i still haven't perfected the squat form, needs some tweaking and i think itll be good. Im 6 2 and have gotten more flexible and shit in this time

Is this normal or am i just autistic? I'm not the best at learning new stuff. How long did it take you to learn proper form?

Thanks

I made Alan thrall's chanko nabe bulking stew today. Its really fucking good. I recommend it to all of you. Cost me 25 dollars because I had to buy a few sauces and a bag of miso, next time it would be more like 15.

Tfw my hero poutine is the first post in my thread
>>
>>35153537

Here's the recipe because OP is a fag:
################################
Ingredient list:

1-2 lbs (depending on how much meat you want in your soup) Ground Beef, Chicken, Pork, and/or Turkey
1/2 gal of Stock: Beef, Chicken, Fish, or Vegetable
Eggs (about 2 eggs per pound of ground beef)
Large onion
1 cup chopped Scallions (green onions)
Cabbage
Bok Choy
4-6 large whole carrots
2 cups of sliced Mushrooms
Garlic
Ginger
Soy Sauce
Mirin (rice wine vinegar)
Miso Paste
Rice

(If you don’t have access to Mirin and Miso Paste you can find a Chinese/Japanese style sauce that will do just fine)
Step 1: Cook rice.

Step 2: In a large pot, heat up the Stock, ½ cup Soy Sauce, ½ cup Chinese/Japanese style sauce.

Step 3: Chop all of the vegetables. The carrots, mushrooms, cabbage, and Bok Choy should be roughly chopped. Big chunks are good. Mince the onions, garlic, ginger, and scallions (green onions). Keep the carrots and mushrooms together; the cabbage and Bok Choy together; the onions, garlic, and ginger together.

Step 4: Once the stock comes to a rolling boil add the carrots and mushrooms.

Step 5: In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground meat, eggs, onions, green onion, garlic, ginger, ½ cup of Soy Sauce, and some of the Chinese/Japanese style sauce. Mix together.

Step 6: Using a silverware spoon, scoop and shape small meatballs out of the meat mixture. Drop the meatballs one by one into the stock. Once the meat mixture is gone, let them cook for about 12 minutes (depending on how hot the stock is and how many meatballs you made.)

Step 7: Once the meatballs are cooked, add the chopped WASHED Bok Choy and Cabbage. Let simmer for 2-3 minutes.

Step 8: Serve in a large bowl with a side of steamed white rice. Enjoy!

How much of a difference does it make to wear actual lifting shoes? Is it only worth it once you reach a certain level?

I've been lifting for almost a year now so I'm not really advanced but I'm also past beginner-mode. Are shoes like this worth it for someone who isn't doing huge weight yet? How do they help with lifting?

Also I think they look really cool compared to running shoes and basketball shoes.

>>35153390
It depends on what you're comparing it to.

I started lifting in running shoes that had terrible balance for lifting. My feet were always super wobbly when I was squatting or deadlifting. Switching to lifting shoes made a huge difference.

But in hindsight I probably could have just gone barefoot and gotten similar results.

So I guess my takeaway is that they can help if you're using something shittier, but they're not required.
>>
>>35153431
I've been using running shoes the whole time (Nike Free 4.0s) and my feet are definitely a bit wobbly and get sore from deadlifts and squats. I was thinking a more solid and stable shoes would help fix that. Or going barefoot.
>>
>>35153390
If you lift in running shoes, you may as well kill yourself.

Alright, for my age (22), I am a chubby weak guy. I weigh around 160 at a height of 5'7. I'm not looking to lose a lot of weight, however it would not hurt. I am mainly looking to actually increase muscle mass and be able to lift more. I have a barbell in my home, but only 100 pounds on it. Here's the real kick. I can only bench press around 75 pounds. Is there any way that I can effectively bench press more over a period of lets say, 6 months? I'm wanting to be able to bench, say around, 150. I'm prepared to do the fucking work since I have a lot of spare time on my hands as it is, but I don't know how to use it effectively. Anyone got any tips/routines?

You'll be benching over 100 in less than a month and 135 in 3 months, 200 in another 10 months and 225 after 1.5 years.

Just lift weights and lift heavier weights after that
>>
>>35153277
It is much easier to increase your bench quickly when you have a spotter. Get a workout buddy or someone who can help you out and really push yourself.
