10 min before and 10 minutes after working out
in each of those I'm supposed to do intervals: 1 minute of walking and 1 minute of running.

Pretty much this. If you want to work your way up to running 5ish kms without stopping, this is the way to start. Increase the amount you run for each week (check couch to 5k, they have a mobile app)

So far I've started off with boiling it. For two purposes: one, to sanitize it; two, to make it softer. Then I grind it in a food processor with water, until it's fine enough that I can chug it without having to chew too much.
It's bitter, so I plug my nose and down it goes.
After the stuff is boiled, it seems like you've either got to eat it right there or pitch it. It seems to not keep well after boiling. Diarrhea city.

I've been a bodyweight fag for a long time. I thought lifting was unnecessary because you can always make a bodyweight exercise harder. I figured I'd rather be able to do a one arm chin-up than curl more weight. I reached a respectable level with my bar work, handbalancing and acrobatic work but eventually got bored and decided to throw some barbell work into my routines, even though it could upset my previous strength to weight ratio.
I'm ashamed at what I've been missing. It hasn't detracted from what I could do before, it is balancing me out and I feel so much more powerful. I'm sorry I doubted you fit. I was wrong.

Hey /fit/ I'm a few months into SL 5x5 and I just want your guys opinion on something. I'm doing all my forms perfectly, ATG, bringing the bench to my chest, etc. And I'm seeing some great progress, my chest and back are much much bigger, my quads are getting jacked, its still noob gains I know, but i feel like my chest is gaining a lot slower than my squats. I'm squatting 180 right now 5x5, but on my bench I'm only doing 115 5x5 and struggling. Is that considered slow? Anything you guys can recommend? Thanks
