>tfw wanna work out but the cns wont let me
Who here too intelligent to let their central nervous system get burned out due to overtraining? Being an intelligent lifter is suffering
lift light? deload?
>>39384882
Thats still risking overtraining. As a strength athlete you have to lift big and lift infrequently to become a freak. I recognize this begrudgingly

did this guy visit fit before he when on a killing spree? all of our memes are in it

Suggestions for high protein snacks to have every now and then when I am a little hungry between meals? Preferably something that I can take with me to work. I live in Australia and can't find granola in the supermarkets for some reason.
>Being hungry between meals
>making it
pick one

im kinda new to this but I love a protein bar or bar with nuts

Due to a combination of weird lingering injuries and getting burnt out on lifting (in part from trying to avoid getting hurt or work around being hurt), pretty much the only exercise I do now is indoor rock climbing 3-4 times a week.
I've gotten pretty into it and I'm wondering if a) anyone else here climbs and b) can you recommend any good workouts or exercises specifically for that?
I'd love to get into lifting again but I get bored/frustrated trying to avoid aggravating old injuries. It's gotten to the point where I don't ever even get on /fit anymore, but that's a net gain really
One time bump

anon bumping
I climb and lift, hard. Its very fun but If you dont want to injure stuff, unless you're <145lbs, you are going to inevitably pull, dislocate and injure things it's just the sport. I can give tips more specifically if you give me the specific type of climbing you're doing (Lead, Bouldering, Belay, Ice)
>tfw when 5'10 145lb skeltal
>tfw lifting more than everyone else at the gym
How can people actually invest time in things without even researching it?
Same reason you're still a skeleton I guess
>>39384600
nah the reason is i started last month
>>39384673
How do you know they didn't start last month too
Fatfuck cutting, I cant control myself at around 8pm. Afer i ate way too much, which i should not eat, i realise what ive done, but then its too late...
How do i gain selfcontrol/self discipline?
Idk op I'm trying to cut at a 1k deficit but I always overeat and end up with a 500 calorie deficit. It's easier just to work out to burn off the extra, I burn an extra 500 so I'm still at a 1k deficit.

>How do i gain selfcontrol/self discipline?
You just do it. It's hard, there's no magic trick, and you'll just have to harden the fuck up. You can help yourself tho by removing shit foods in your house and just buying what you need to eat daily if you can.
>>39384507
OP here, I'm at a 800 calorie deficit. its not that in hungry after that. But I'm so used to eating that I can't get it out of me to not eat after say around 8pm..
okay bros, what is the best pre workout tingles wise? I am currently looking at either the C4 Pre Workout or the Gold standard Pre workout. Any tips/advice will be much appreciated
>>39384478
Whichever one has the higher amount of beta-alanine. That's the vasodilator in preworkouts that leads to the tingling sensation.
as the anon above said the problem is your body get used to beta alanine quickly so thats like chasing the dragon
>>39384498
okay cheers. Do you have any personal experience with any of the ones mentioned? I have had c4 before and remember really good tingles
Hey, /fit/ . I play lacrosse, and have pretty decently sized thighs, legs, and shoulders for my body size, but my forearms and biceps/triceps are puny. Any tips to bulk them up in time for lacrosse season? (spring)
>>39384462
During one workout do barbell rows and bench presses
During another workout do close grip bench, barbell curls and farmers walks
>>39384462
The best exercise I've found for lacrosse are forearm roll ups. After doing those I noticed a serious increase in power
few shitty questions looking for some good answers, I read the sticky and am having a hard time picking a starting routine. I used to go to the gym regularly and followed a PPL but I stopped going for over a year and want to start again. The reason I want a new routine is because in January I have a physical exam for a job that I am applying for and my resting heart rate and current blood pressure are too high to pass, according to the sticky and some google sources just eating healthy and doing regular cardio will fix both of those things. Should I just continue a 3 day a week PPL with 4 days of 30 min cardio or switch my routine to something different to ensure I lower my BP and resting heart-rate? any info appreciated

Pic doesn't work. Ive snapped ram trying.
Is there any point in cod liver oil, vitamin tablets, etc? Do they actually make a difference, or at least a positive one? Or just a harmless waste of money?
Cod liver oil is good for you. Take it from me, a biochemist.
>>39384286
cod liver oil is good for you, vitamin tablets are a waste unless you're eating a diet that's unbalanced. Otherwise you're jsut paying for nutrient rich piss
tfw you edge for nine hours and have a disappointing cum
>cum 3-4 times a day
>massive orgasms
This all happened after I started lifting.
it's the journey no the destination, am I right folks?

>fapping in Nofap November
So fit, what did you waste your money on this month?
My first order from myprotein so we'll see how much I like or dislike everything I picked up.
In b4 shaker cups leak from the start.
Oh, ok.
>Be fat, 170 lbs
>lose weight, 160 lbs

How's the weather down there, little man?
>>39384152
Just keep spamming weights for a recomp dude. Fuck the bulking and cutting meme. Its too hard for me anyway.
I started at 175, now I'm 163 pounds, but have way more muscle and less fat.
>>39384152
I've been very pissed at myself for being 210 pounds (6'), So I got myself a plan and a peice of paper, Writing down what I ate and how many calories were in them, With my plan of 1200 calories a day and medium exercise, Within a month I lost 10 pounds, It's a little hard to maintain, but you gotta keep counting 1800 calories when you reached your goal. Eventually it would be just natural to not eat like a lardass, but to be honest, in the long run, patience is key.
Can I reach this body only by swimming regularly ?
Right now I want to decide between two choices :
- Gym membership
- Swimming pool membership
What would you do ?
Gym
Swimming is just cardio. If you want to do cardio, just run for pretty much the same effect.
>>39384135
Many commercial gyms have swimming pools
>>39384203
>water is nearly 800 times denser than air
>swimming is just cardio
>Body keeps releasing grenlin and making me hungry
haha very funny body
>2016
