serial killer loose in Southern California, confirmed to be sexiest man alive
I noticed this shit yesterday at the grocery store and I never notice the 100's of magazines, hmmmmm
And women complain that "sexy" physiques for a woman is too high of a standard.
That's the only shit I see when I see magazines like this, and meanwhile Barbiedolls are getting fatter and Ken dolls are getting more toned..... to date fat barbie
What are some essential stretches to make sure I never get patellar tendonitis again?
>>39506164
Bumping this thread.
>>39508149
thanks anon
Imo it's not about streches when it comes to patella tendonitis, it's about muscle.
Sure having flexible hamstrings / hips will help but THE thing that will unsure that you never get this bitch of a tendonitis again is building strong quads / glutes to releave the tendon AND know how to use them.
AKA you have to build your legs up by rehabing and focus on form, and you'll be set forever.
Also give time to your legs to rest. At least 3 days if you go heavy.
The Greatest Debate.
What would happen to bodybuilding as we know it if our humble natty king stepped onto a stage to show up these gross juiced up manlets?
Bumpo
>>39506049
I mean it's fun to talk "what if" but there's no way to really know because the dude would never abdicate the natty throne.
>>39506633
Bruh, he could win it natty easily. Easily bruh
What was the main reason why you started to lift?
self-hatred
>>39505842
Weakness from acromegaly.
My knees and arms would get tired from daily activities so I started lifting to help out.
self-confidence.
but after 5kg boost, im not feeling any braver. I'm about to call snake oil.
How do I get to this body type without literally destroying my body with steroids? How many decades?
>>39505659
Aw jeez, that fella has quite a physique. I suppose you could get kinda close if you lift for about 1.4 decades from the age of 15, maybe
>>39505659
He is obscenely in shape
No one has ever tried but if you are enough of a maniac go ahead and waste your life or decades of it for a body you could get in just 16 years of steroids, not worth it
For a while now, I have noticed a trend among women working out, and it's been hard explaining it to people.
Finally, I know what to call it: Bullshit.
Women are doing a lot of bullshit when they work out.
Here's why.
The average girl is all about appearance. Everyone knows that they do nothing important during their day, but they go out of their way to make it look hardcore and serious on social media. And that's what they bring into their workouts. they try to make it look super serious. So they overcompensate by doing the exersices like robots. If you've seen chicks at the gym, you know what I'm talking about.
But...
Like in real life, women don't really do anything with their lives, and it's harder to make the workouts look hardcore than it is to make "super healthy" sandwich on Instagram. A woman working out is weaker than most men who don't.
So they start doing bullshit. Go ahead. Watch bragging videos on the Internet of women doing stuff that's bullshit.
Jumping steps on stairs. Superadvanced push-ups. Jumping on boxes. Lots of crossfit stuff etc.
I can't be the only one noticing?
''The average girl is all about appearance. Everyone knows that they do nothing important during their day''
Jesus, grow up, man.
Look up confirmation bias, retard. 99% of men are doing the same thing.
>>39505652
The entire fitness industry is built around bullshit, 30 minute this, 5 minute that. Everyone believes what they want
Alright /fit/, how many of you seriously think you could take on someone who´s been practicing a martial art for a couple of years in a fight?
I mean wouldn´t it be embarrasing to get shut down by a 5´7 140 guy in front of everyone? Whats the point of being strong if you can´t use it outside the gym?
Also when i say martial art i mean boxing, MMA, BJJ or some other practical style, none of that Wing Chun shit
>>39505504
Judo brown belt here. I have stopped practicing judo for over 9 years ( Im 32 now) but I still think I could handle everybody in a 1vs1 streetfight, even if he is a UFC champion.
I am 1m76, 81kg.
>>39505632
You are overestimating your abilities by a lot
>>39505504
I do.
t. The guy who's been practicing a martial art for a couple of years.

Best routine after SS/SL if your goal is aesthetics?
PPL
>tfw starting to catch feelings for a girl I've just been banging
>she likes me a lot
>I still have a strong urge to cheat on her
>still talking to other chicks and making plans with them
what do?

OP: Extra info:
Started my /fit/ journey with weight loss on SL for the past year. Nearing 10% body fat and bulk phase for the 1st time. Would it be alright to switch routines now? Since strength isn't my primary goal
Sup, /fit/, manlet fat boi here. (5'8", 98kgs or 215lbs) Tired of being fat and weak, I joined the local gym a week ago. So far I've done only cardio(30mins each day since monday, at 8kmh or 5mph), but a friend of mine recommended me weighting lifts to lose more fat while gaining muscle.
So I got to the sticky here and read about Starting Strength, supposedly a goat programme for total beginners like me. This morning I did some quick cardio on the treadmill (6 min) and hit the barbells. My routine has been:
3x5 squat 15kg (33lbs)
3x5 overhead 15kg (33lbs)
1x5 deadlift 20kg (44lbs)
AND IT FEELS LIKE I DIDN'T EXERCISE AT ALL
Seriously, I didn't even sweat and I look like I just took a shower when I do cardio.
Am I doing anything wrong? I respected the resting times and everything (got some weird looks for holding the squat rack during 15min) Should I put more weight in my bar? Checked my form and everything, feels weird to do this little on the gym and come back home.
Shameless bumperino

I am going to give you the most relevant and useful advice you will ever receive in your entire pathetic existence.
You are a manlet. You've hit genetic rock bottom.
Nothing you do in life will ever be appreciated because it will be overlooked by your one gaping flaw.
When you lose fat and get shredded, you won't be known as a good looking guy who looks after his physique, you'll be known as the creepy 5'8 guy who overcompensates for his height and penis.
You can be the first person to the moon, invent a cure for cancer, but you won't be the first "person" to go to the moon, you will always be known as the first manlet on the moon. You won't be the scientist who invented a cure for cancer, you'll be the manlet who invented the cure for cancer.
Take my advice, and don't even try. Stay on a permabulk, grow a beard on your neck, take up World of Warcraft and Magic the Gathering and accept your existence for what it is.
A waste.

kek alright, any real advice tho? thanks for the bump
Is eating at maintenance and doing cardio the ultimate way to cut?
inb4 DNP
Eating at a deficit while lifting and doing cardio is far superior.
>>39509154
But I don't want to feel like I'm going to collapse at any moment
>>39509138
if you're eating at maintenance you're not losing any weight so that's a pretty shitty way to cut. and lifting is way more important than cardio for cutting.
Absolute severe agoraphobia and panic disorder and self-hatred keeping me at home
What are the most effective body-weight exercises?

Just looking somewhat normal, pham
Currently at
6'8' (no joke I am well past 2 metres)
some gyno and a massive beer belly
horrible posture, constantly sucking in my stomach and lurching out of fear of judgement
Just need to start somewhere to look somewhat decent
>>39508993
Check out the Freeletics app, pretty great.
Else, buy some resistance bands + pull-up bar.
Even better would be to build your own home gym.
Quick question here,
I only had about 3.5 hours sleep last night and today is a scheduled gym day, I feel crappy about possibly missing a workout as this would then be the third day of no training and feel like I should really go today but worried about my strength levels and it being a terrible workout. Should I sleep it off and go tomorrow or suck it up and go today?
I feel okay, eyes are a bit heavy but nothing crazy.
>>39508984
Don't get 3.5 hours of sleep
>>39509001
One time thing, won't happen again, just trying to figure out what's the best course of action for my training and recovery, today or tomorrow
>>39509043
ITS RIGHT NOW FAGGOT
