Is eating at maintenance and doing cardio the ultimate way to cut?

Eating at a deficit while lifting and doing cardio is far superior.

But I don't want to feel like I'm going to collapse at any moment
>>39509138
if you're eating at maintenance you're not losing any weight so that's a pretty shitty way to cut. and lifting is way more important than cardio for cutting.

The fuck you smoking? Cardio burns more calories in sheer amount of time you spend doing it than lifting will ever do.

it burns more calories, but that's almost irrelevant. the hard part about cutting is not creating a deficit, it's retaining (or even increasing) muscle mass. that's what matters in the long run. you don't need cardio to create a 500, 1000 or even bigger deficit if that's what you want, you just need to control your diet.

Muscle loss is a meme unless you are
trying to get insanely shredded
using a huge deficit

>Shoulder Tendinitis as of 2.5 months ago
>Can't lift anymore for the foreseeable future
>2.5 months out and still have gains
>Eating at 500kcal deficit to cut for summer while I can't lift.
Weird how that works. It's like, your body will retain what you worked months and months to get.

muscle loss is the main problem when you cut. losing body weight is incredibly easy unless you have no self control, and cardio is not necessary unless you're trying to create a massive deficit. lifting simply has more benefits during a cut than cardio has, and the only real benefit cardio has in the cutting process (burning more calories) is easily accomplished by lifting and controlling your diet.
If I eat a 500 deficit vs create a 500 deficit with cardio
Will I still be as hungry
>>39509229
hard to say, but in my experience the main factor that controls hunger is WHAT you eat. a high protein diet with diet with lots of lean meat and vegetables will allow me to eat basically whatever deficit I want without being hungry.

Cardio stimulates hunger way harder than a 500kcal deficit
Eat high protein and fibre, don't do cardio unless you want and you'll be gravy
