This semester in uni I'm taking a programming class and that allows me to use the computer lab to print anything i want for free. I pronted a pirated copy of starting strength. You know, I've become a slut for my temporary pain. I've been sick with the flu for a week, then after that went away, I developed the whooping cough, and now with it I have the flu. Yesterday the place where I sell phones, 3 blacks came in and stole all the iphones, and because I was in front of the display when I ran in, they smashed my head against the wall and knocked me out, then another employee told me when I was knocked out, one kicked my knee in super hard, which is why I am also limping. Combined with the want of not losing my gains, I tonight will go to the gym and do chest, shoulders, and triceps.
This pain and torture of a throbbing head, dripping nose, terrible cough, and bruised knee is killing me, but I just have to laugh. I can't let sickness stop me from working out. I won't make it in time for the summer. I'm going to fight through life with the hatred of being alone and ignored, and I'll reach the top, even if it kills me.

I'm 33. I quit drinking when I was 26, in 2009. Its been over 7 years without a drop. Anyways, in order to quit any habbit, you have to convince yourself that you hate whatever it is. I just remember what a piece of shit I was when I was when i was young and drunk. Not to mention wild af. Anyways, I always told myself "that's just what people in their early 20s do, they drink a lot" but I finally gave it up. Put a marker board on the wall or a calender, and for every day without a drink, you get one line. Eventually, seeing all those marks there will empower you not to throw it all away for a drink. Sorry for long post, I just have personal experience. Now I gotta quit dipping

I have been cursed with chicken legs. It's quite bad. I can barely squat 5x5 with lmao 1 pl9.
Can I save myself the embarrassment of squatting baby weights by doing pic related? At least until I can squat decent weight effectively ? Being a grown man who can't squat is humiliating.

I could legit not squat 1pl8 for reps comfortably last year and just hit 3pl8 for a 1 rep max so there is hope for you yet anon. We're all gonna make it.

Focus on ensuring you've got good form, decent flexibility and for fucks sake use a weight light enough that you actually go to parallel instead of this half rep nigger bullshit. Do some leg extensions and curls for accessory work as a minimum. Add some stiff leg deads, calf work and leg press. Job done.

Rack pulls in a month made a dif to my traps like no tomorrow. I've been doing weighted stretching and it seems to be helping? Not sure honestly if its his program being better than previous ones or if its the stretching.
