Focus on ensuring you've got good form, decent flexibility and for fucks sake use a weight light enough that you actually go to parallel instead of this half rep nigger bullshit. Do some leg extensions and curls for accessory work as a minimum. Add some stiff leg deads, calf work and leg press. Job done.

Had same problem. For me it was because I had bitchweak hamstrings.
Did wide-stance leg press and lying leg curls and they helped a lot with getting my shitty hams up to speed

Unironically, do both. Squat to build your stabilizers and get the form down to a T, and leg press on the same day for easy noob gains. Don't worry about squatting baby weights, you'll be better than most of the world for even squatting in the first place.
