Anyone ever dealt with a minor hernia? Just been diagnosed with an umbilical hernia and possibly an inguinal hernia. If so, did surgery occur? did you continue lifting afterwards? Just looking for some peoples experiences, feel pretty shitty about this.

Hey bud, I don't know the different types of hernias you're talking about but a few weeks ago I had a hernia at the gym, apiece of bowel pushed out of my upper pics (above belly button, slightly off centre ab line) doing squats.

Haven't had surgery because theDoc says the wait list is several years (Canada, yo) and they pretty much said there's nothing I can do.

Worst part was I was told I shouldn't do squats or deads any more, so I've had to pivot to high rep Leg Press as my primary leg exercise.

what did it feel like? I was carrying a plate and suddenly my ab made a weird half second strain feeling (as if it was pushing out really hard) but after that it was completely fine (i stopped that workout though)

Why do I piss at least twice a night? Most people go the whole night without pissing or only piss once. I literally have to get up at least twice a night to take a long piss and when I get up for work I take another long yellow piss.

What the fuck is wrong with me? I feel like I'm not deep sleeping.

i can't take creatine in any shape or form because of this. my girlfriend actually approached me concerned, because i would leave the bed 2 times at night to pee. actually took a lot of trial and error to realize that it was creatine.

240lb fat ass here getting fit. Is there any way to tell if I'm losing fat while building muscle? Seems like I'm the same weight I was while on a pretty vigorous diet, and I am lifting for the first time while making physically obvious gains, so it is cancelling itself out?

I'm not but calories I read don't correlate perfectly to weight anyway, before that I read 3000kcal translated to 1lb, apparently this is inaccurate. Ignoring the fact weight fluctuates constantly. I did count calories for a long time so I should start doing it again using a kcal/lb scale?

Yo balconybro, on my 2nd superset I lunge. And with 12 reps each legs for 4 sets my legs are smashed. How the Fuck can I do 2 more leg supersets? I must just be incredibly weak or something. Same with triceps that day, I start with skullcrushers and with 4 sets of 12 of those even with the curved bar, my tri's are pretty

If you're just starting out you likely are weak in those muscles and you're probably also running into CNS fatigue as well. Your body simply isn't used to exerting that much energy for sustained amounts of time yet.

The only way around this is to force yourself to complete the next sets/movements no matter how low the weights are. If you're lunging with dumbells in each hand, you may have to drop all weight and do non-weighted lunges, the movement alone is still enough to engage the muscle.

Or in the case of skullcrushers, instead of using the curved bar do them one arm at a time with dumbells, going down to 5lb dumbells if you have to.

This program emphasizes volume (completing sufficient number of sets/reps). Adjust the weight however necessary to finish all 4 sets (or 3 sets if you're just starting out) in the 8-12 rep range for each of the chosen movements.

Yeah, it's Randy again btw. But yeah I was just doing bodyweight lunges and I'm just so weak I barely completed the 4 sets and that was only my second super set. So I have a lot of work to do
