Because I'm caught in a endless cycle between "I need to bulk up" fuck I'm too fat "I need to cut down" these cycles last weeks and result in 0 progress
I'm on the way to husbando mode and I do get mired, just need to cut a bit more maybe 10-15lbs

6'8, long femurs (of course), I feel low bar squats more in my quads than a high bar squat, why is this the case? I squat the same depth and try and push hips back in low bar but I sort of let them naturally do what they want to do rather than HIP DRAHHHV. Anyone else had this? I noticed the weight was easier too however it was my first time doing it so I was a little unsure of myself but definitely felt easier than when I used the same weight high bar.

relative length is what matters, not absolute length, but it looks like your femurs are relatively long as well (relative to height)
my guess would be you put your back in a superior position to counter the natural forward lean long femur squatters have, so you could focus more on actually performing the movement
ime squats don't work particularly well for training quads if you have relatively long femurs (not saying they won't grow)
eventually your back will be a limiting factor while your quads can handle a ton more volume
might want to incorporate direct quad work after a while

How do you guys know how to make a program? Like what muscles to hit, how much rest, exercices and all? I have been struggling for years and recently getting in shape by doing long distance running and tabata. But I have no idea what am I doing, like the optimal load of training, if I am making gains/progress.
There's just so much stuff out there that I always end up confused and give up. I had a track and field coach but I barely made any progress in 3 years
